Bought these for my girlfriend who has to attend hospital three times a week for eight weeks for UV treatment. She has had some cheaper ones which have been useless, but these ones are absolutely fantastic and provide a cooling effect. Don’t think about these just buy them

I wasn’t too sure about these but tried them out on a trip to New Zealand, and they actually worked quite well. They protected my arms in full sun, without the unwanted additional warmth of wearing something like a cardigan. I kept them in my day pack so I could just slip them on if required. As others have said, there is a real cooling sensation when you wear them. Although in very hot weather when I was perspiring a bit, the sleeves did feel a bit warm. I think they look a bit odd but partly it’s the grey colour, another colour might look more like a long-sleeved t-shirt.
