Excellent docking station!
I got this as I am pulling apart my setup each time I have to go into the office. Having the ability to plug everything into one hub would make my life so much easier and save time! The unit itself is a metal and plastic build. The main shell is metal and this is used to pull heat away from the hub. It does this quite well and keeps the unit pretty cool. The metal design also keeps it nicely protected but the plastic parts help to keep the weight down. The unit has loads of ports on it which makes this perfect for my home setup. I run two screens, USB mouse/ keyboard, webcam, power for my laptop and ethernet, this unit the while has not skipped a beat and has given me a perfect connection to all of these. The laptop is fully topped up constantly because of the power pass through and I have been able to push my two 4k monitors with no issues. The only slight downside is that this does definitely not work with Macs, I have tried a couple of times with different devices and certain things don’t work, so I would give this a miss if you are a Mac user.Overall, this is a pretty inexpensive docking station which ticks all the boxes for me. I still have more expandability and the unit simple works how I need it to. 5/5!
Customer Review –
A solid hub that’s a little large but has the ports to make it worth it.
Works and looks great, but is a little on the large and expensive side for what it is.All the ports, as far as I can tell, work as advertised with decent speeds though I really would have liked to see 3 proper usb 3.0 ports rather than cheaping out and having 2 usb2.0 ports. Unfortunately I can’t specifically test the 4k 140ps claims, but the video output is A ok at 1080p.It’s heavy and feels quality, thats a little large but sensibly uses all its avaible space for the ports.Overall an easy reccomendation

Great cable organisation
A handy tidy dock station. I only use the USB, USB-C and SD slots but they all work and helps keep workspace tidy and no loose cables/leads anywhere.

Comprehensive
A very comprehensive multi-port hub. Particularly useful fi you have a laptop, tablet or smart phone that only has one or two ports. This should enable you to connect multiple peripherals to your device with an HDMI port, two Display ports, an audio jack, an ethernet port, an SD card reader and a selection of USB ports making 12 in all including a 100W capable power in for charging. Not the cheapest adapter by a long chalk, but one of the most versatile.

One size fits all dock
No issues with this at all. It’s a bit chunky but it does pretty much everything you might need a dock to do. It’s got multiple display adapters including both DP and HDMI, and can run two monitors easily, although don’t expect to get full resolution on both if they’re particularly high resolution or refresh rate.Power delivery is great, and easily runs all of my laptops. There are a large number of expansion ports too. I personally will never use the SD card slot but it’s a definite nice to have. The ethernet and 3mm jacks are a nice addition too. This pretty much has everything someone would need without any extra adapters. It’s got enough for a mouse, keyboard and something else and any display you’d want.I did have issues with my display and couldn’t get the full 4k 240hz out of this, but without it being thunderbolt I’m not too surprised and it did at least work at 60/120hz which is fine for a work laptop.Realistically, this has pretty much everything anyone could want from a dock, and it’s not even that big to facilitate this. No complaints at all. I’ve used quite a few Wavlink products and trust the brand a lot at this point too.

As long as you know what you are doing,
This is a good bit of kit, made from aluminium and very light of course, if you need to take it to work. The cable is part of the device with a `C ` connecter so you won`t lose it.Connected it my laptop and fitted an SD card in and it came up quickly as I could see the first picture fine, but it would not let me go too the next picture , it kept buffering, to be fair this has happened before with other SD cards I have and so may not be the device.I am not the best when it comes to technical stuff , so will ask a friend to have a look.I have looked at other reviews and they all give good reviews , so it may be just my incompetence with computer stuff, haha.

The Perfect Dock!
This laptop docking station by WAVLINK is stylish (for docks, that is) and well made. Its outer shell is made of aluminium and finished off in anodised silver. It has 12-in-1 functionality that can be used with Windows and Mac OS, no driver is required if using with Windows 10/11 later and Mac OS.It is compact and requires no large power block to power it. I connected it using my MacBookâs wall charger and USB-C power cable, then connected the dock straight into my MacBook Pro. I also connected an SD card, and it showed up straight away. I noticed also that once disconnected from the mains, I was still able to access the SD card.It contains: 2 x display ports, 1 x HDMI port, 100w PD In, 1 x 10Gbps USB-A 3.1 port, 1 x 10Gbps USB-C port , 2 x USB-A 2.0, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, SD/TF Slots, Audio/Mic.This dock is capable of extending single displays to a screen quality of 4K@144HZ and 8K@30HZ, and dual displays to 4K@60HZ by using the DP ports. A third screen can also be connected using the HDMI port. One of my images shows my MacBook connected to my TV as an extended display with HDR enabled, and it works perfectly.Overall, this dock is a must-have in your backpack when travelling for work, perfect for the home to help reduce the amount of cables and to extend displays to make it easier to manage multiple applications. DP inputs are perfect for high-quality monitors, and the USB options are excellent in extending your options. I am confused regarding the notes stating “Not compatible with any MAC OS computer” when it clearly is, and the manual included mentions that it is also. I would have liked to have the attached USB-C cable as a removable option. It is well made but can get in the way when storing. I hope that you have found my review to be helpful. Thank you.

First impressions are that it is shorter than I expected (by a couple of inches) and feels sturdy. I have an older triple monitor dock that is half again as long as this. It’s nice that they are getting more compact. The case is aluminum, which is one thing I like about the this and the others I’ve had. Better for carting around in a backpack. It’s also good for heat dissipation, and it does get warm with one 4k monitor, USB C Power Supply for PD, and laptop cooling pad fans connected. Not hot. Not yet anyway. If I add more than one monitor I would expect more heat. I have one at home driving three monitors and it gets plenty hot. This is also the first one I’ve had with a USB C 10Gb passthrough port, and I connected a USB C external HDD to test with. It worked just fine for a CrystalDiskMark 1GiB test. It is not an SSD, so I didn’t test the full bandwidth of the passthrough port.It also has a USB 3 10Gb, SD Card Reader, and 2.5G ethernet. I’m not using those at the moment, but I will report back if they cause me any trouble in the future.I’ve owned quite a few USB docks, several have been WavLink, and I’ve been happy with them. I wanted one for an office I’m renting away from my house, and this one is more than capable.A note on longevity: This is a daily driver for me, and I expect to get a year out of these small USB C docks. Any more than that is a bonus in the sub $100 price range.A note on Mac OS: I have a Windows laptop, and it’s important to note that the Amazon listing for this model, WL-UMD306, specifically says it is only for Windows. The box has system requirements, with “Mac OS 10.8 or later” listed. The description also has pictures of a MacBook connected, which makes it more confusing. It may work, but I wouldn’t try it as long as the listing says otherwise.

This is a great usb-c dock that seems to include everything! While I originally got this for the 2.5gig ethernet port, I can really appreciate that this dock has so many different ports. You can connect your monitors/tv to this with ease. You can connect many usb devices, audio and power! It even has an SD card so if your laptop doesn’t have one, this could be the perfect solution if your lappy has usb-c and can charge over usb-c. If this is the case, you should look into this for your docking needs. It works as it should. I didn’t try three displays but tried both display ports and they worked great. I’m sure the hdmi port works fine too. Also nice to see the usb 3 ports being 10g and not the old 5g that a lot of docks use. You can even connect your mouse and keyboard to the usb 2 ports. They are pretty much only there for those devices so make sure you take advantage of that. Don’t connect a usb 3 device to the usb 2 ports or you will notice a slowdown in file transfer speed to that device. Overall, well built, does what it should and is full featured. Can’t complain, would recommend.
