Nice feel, good lighting
OK I have a limited size area available for my keyboard, my lap, I have been using a smaller keyboard that was similar but without the cursor keys or number pad areas, unfortunately after a second trip to the floor off the chair arm thanks to cat it ceased to be, an ex keyboard.I’d bought on of these previously as my wife prefers this, so after her rave reviews I thought I’d try one out. the lighting is nice, easy to change and vibrant. size wise, yes it’s a full sized keyboard but the margins outside are neat. The whole thing feels solid and when in use on my lap it doesn’t bend or flex like some do. Typing is easy and the short press keys work very well, if it bothers you at all they are also fairly quiet. Honestly I like it, it’s doing a good job as a do everything keyboard from slow social posts, to gaming to working on documents all is good. It has also survived a couple of cat encounters, he’s slept on it and knocked it off a couple of time, but no damage.

Good tactile keys, relatively quiet, adjustable lights
I spent a long time looking for a backlit slim membrane style keyboard that’s also wired for gaming needs. I’m one of the few people who prefer quiet membrane keys over clacky, chunky mechanical keys. I have small hands so the smaller and flatter, the better. I also didn’t want the delay and constant recharging that comes with a wireless keyboard. This keyboard fits all my needs. It feels sturdier than I expected for the price. It’s actually a touch on the small side for me and I occasionally make spelling errors as I adjust to a slightly more cramped set of keys. The key layout is one of my only complaints, the enter key is vertical as opposed to horizontal so I often find myself hitting the tilde key instead of sending a message, I have to really stretch my pinky over to reach the small Enter key. Also the lights on the keyboard seem to project from the bottom row upwards, so even at the dimmest setting, the bottom row has bright lights peeking out from around the keys that can be distracting at night. Somewhat expected at this price range, but disappointing nonetheless hence 4 stars. So far the keyboard functions with no issues and is responsive with good tactile feel. For anyone concerned about noise, it’s NOT a silent keyboard. It has a muffled clicky sound but not to the degree of loud clackity mechanical keys. Something to keep in mind.

Great, quiet keyboard
My requirements: I moved from a small, rather noisy keyboard when working from home and playing pc games. Looking for a quieter, full-size keyboard.I am extremely happy with this product, benefits include:+ Quiet operation when typing (significantly quieter so won’t be interfering with my meetings).+ Very comfortable, tactile keys (I love the concave feel of each key).+ Simple controls to operate backlight (different brightness levels including fully OFF if desired).+ Full size keyboard including numeric keypad (accurate typing almost immediately, just having to re-learn the location of some keys having moved up from a mini-keyboard layout before).+ Nicely tilted towards the user (Amazon product photos don’t convey this very well, but there is a long cylindrical ‘leg’ along the rear of the base – see my photo).+ Good length USB cable.+ VERY good value for money.The items I am less keen on or could be seen as a disadvantage:- Not able to adjust the tilt of the keyboard (no legs to adjust, so just a static position).- Small number of backlight colours available and no animations / effects (but I knew this from the product description before I purchased the item).- Quite hard to read the function-keys in low light conditions (backlight doesn’t show the function key numbers as brightly as the other keys, unless set very brightly).Overall I would highly recommend this item. Yes you can buy more RGB / animated backlight options, but you would need to pay a LOT more money to buy those. At this price-point, it is an easy decision to make.

This is such a great keyboard, IF you have small hands.The “light feature” in this keyboard is VERY well thought out & implemented. The mfg. or designer of this keyboard, made it simple. “Plug & play” .Light feature is easy to adjust.It has 1 small problem… And that’s it is SMALL..I had a Logitech K120 I’d used for years, I wanted to upgrade just a little bit… so I bought this keyboard, the ‘Arteck HA305-3B’.. but, the form factor/size.. was just too dang small. Sadly. {Honestly I do have large hands}Anyways, I love the concept, I just need it to be the same size as the Logitech K120, or have the same “Ergonomics”….. THEN I’d really have it made!, until then, it’s just going to be stored safely away.. sadly.I wish comments still existed on this site, b/c I’d seriously like this keyboard.. or something exactly like it in features.. with the ergonomics of the K120 I mention.Alas, no getting “community help”..

Bought this 11 months ago and part of the spacebar started not registering as a keystroke, making typing fast a challenge. After reaching out to the email address shown under the keyboard, I was provided with a replacement unit *very* quickly! The replacement process was painless and nearly immediate.Considering the many companies who don’t stand behind their products, my interaction with this company was a breath of fresh air. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.The keyboard is very quiet and feels great to type on which is why I am glad I got a replacement. 🙂
