Dont waste your money on this drive.
I had trouble with my drive from the outset, failing to power up. I then managed to get it to power up after taking it apart and finding that the drive connector was not properly seated. As I took it apart to fix the issue I did not request a replacement or refund, my choice.Nothing but issues ever since with the mechanical drive inside eventually failing after only a few weeks use, loosing all my back up files into the bargain. Save your money and buy a better drive from a more reputable drive maker.

Good value for money
I am pleased with this external drive. Good value for the price. I used it to move common Windows files to an external drive and store my backups.

Wouldn’t trust it for important media
Good hard drive for the price, but I wouldn’t trust it for storing important media like family photos and videos. I’m using it to store movies and it works fine but some of the time the file can’t be read properly or will stop playing halfway through.For what it is though and for the price I paid, you can’t get 1tb of storage for any cheaper. Just be careful using it because it’s also pretty sensitive to movement, which is normal for any hard disk drive.
