It did what it was meant to – worked out the box – no hassle
I bought this to replace the really bad one I got from work.I can now share my work laptop display with my own x3 27″ screens (x2 HDMI x1 DP in my case).I found that using extra cables and just switching inputs manually on my x3 PC screens as needed means:• I can have from 1-3 additional screens switched to my work laptop as needed, leaving the others available to my home PC.• I did not have to purchase additional hardware such as a KVM to achieve exactly the same thing.• My eyes cope far better with the large screens for intense work sessions.• I am no longer juggling Teams windows when hosting calls and trying to share content.My only negative observation is that “sometimes” the DP port does not pick up the monitor correctly. However, I have found that unplugging the USB C cable from the laptop and plugging it back in again resets the device and the DP input is picked up again.(The DP input also gives me a lower resolution than the other two – but that’s probably down to me and losing the will to live tussling with Windows Settings)Although I would love to say it enables me to play fantastic games at blistering framerates with amazing resolutions, in fact what it does is give me a very cost effective and significant positive impact on my work productivity, apart from now when I should be working *cough*.

It does it’s job, but it is kind of scary.
I got this for my steamdeck, works good! Charges well, my USB devices work with it.Two things wrong however. It can only output 1080p 120Hz onto one display before another monitor struggles. If you want any higher, than 1440p 60hz then this will STRUGGLE, but I don’t know if this is because of the dock or the USB output on the steamdeck itself.Secondly, when I try to plug USB devices into it I can literally see sparks when it touches the case. Like little white lights of arc… there’s clearly a short somewhere, and it’s scary. My monitors flicker sometimes when it does spark. I am a little concerned because of this. However, it’s DC. and there’s lots of safety diodes, but please be aware that it can spark when plugging in things. Can be a fire hazard if you’re extremely reckless.But overall, it works?? So…Yeah! 4 outta 5. Does what I wanted and expected.

Screens work, USB’s dont
Not sure if its because it doesn’t have power passthrough, 3 screens work all fine but when connecting my wireless keyboard and mouse, they become very jittery like they have a weak connection. Other USB’s work fine but peripherals seems to have issues. had to plug them into the other usb port on the laptop which is annoying as Id hoped this would reduce a bunch of dongles connecting to my laptop

A Hub USB C funciona optimamente e muito prática, aconselho mesmo.

Acheté pour mon MacBook Air M1 (2020).Points positifs :Une belle finition qui s’accorde parfaitement avec la gamme des produits Mac.Le produit se connecte parfaitement sans effet de lévitation et de contre-poids.Toutes les connectiques fonctionnent bien.Le produits n’est pas encombrant, intuitif et très pratique.Points négatif :1/ Le second port usb-c n’est pas compatible, ni avec le câble de charge ni avec mon câble (usb-c vers DisplayPort). Il m’est donc impossible de charger mon Mac en même temps de brancher mon écran en 1080p144hz2/ relatif au premier point, le port HMDI ne transmet pas de la 4K60fps et donc pas de 1080p144hz comme le fait l’unique port Thunderbolt.Ces derniers points bien que très personnel à mon utilisation m’ont fais renvoyer ce produit et j’ai acheté un adaptateur différent de la même marque car j’ai été très satisfait. Update : j’ai étais rembourséBilan:Je recommande donc ce hub à toutes personnes n’ayant pas la même exigence que moi (pouvoir charger le Mac et utiliser du 144hz en même temps) car c’est un très beau produit, pratique et fonctionnel.

Voilà un produit génial. Il est compact, s’adapte parfaitement à un Macbook pro et dispose de toute la connectique nécessaire. Un must !
