Small and Mighty!
After my ageing laptop began to struggle to handle my computer science projects, I decided to look for something a little more powerful, whilst being efficient enough to leave plugged in at home in case I need to access it while on campus.This mini pc has been perfect so far for the majority of my coding and media processing projects for my degree. Furthermore, I have it configured so that it also runs some docker containers that allow me to host my own photo backup server which is made possible by the 1TB drive in the machine. Immich (the image server software) allows me to back up my photos from my phone to the server, freeing up space on my phone, but then means I can quickly access all of my photos and videos from anywhere that I have internet.In terms of usability, windows is snappy with Chrome and File Explorer opening very quickly, with very minimal lag when playing 4k videos or opening and closing windows, with performance similar to my sisters considerably more expensive Dell XPS desktop.In conclusion, for the price, this tiny little box packs a punch and I would highly recommend it to anybody, especially any students, in the market for a cheap but performant mini pc, perfect for notetaking, lecture viewing and light gaming.

Quiet and compact with solid performance
When I set this up in my home office, I was struck by how quiet it operates. From streaming videos in crisp 4K to managing spreadsheets and coding projects, this compact system delivers with ease. The upgraded N150 processor makes daily tasks noticeably quicker, and switching between multiple apps has been smooth throughout. It handles light multitasking very capably and even kept up with my sonâs extended YouTube sessions while I worked on a presentation.The size is a significant advantage for me. It fits neatly behind my monitor using the included VESA mount and doesnât take up any additional desk space â ideal for my small flat. The metal casing offers a sturdy, high-quality feel without appearing too flashy. The lack of a USB-C port is a minor shortfall, but the excellent build quality compensates for this. An excellent option for both family and work purposes.

Great little PC
A really nice little PC, if not a *tiny* bit underpowered. It’s INCREDIBLY small and near-silent most of the time. And for general windows (or linux) use, browsing etc, it’s fine. It can just about manage 4k video without dropping too many frames, but that is a stretch. Maybe it will improve with better drivers in future – the N150 should be able to manage 4k.But the quality of the device, the size of it, the near-silence and minimal power consumption, still make it 5 stars from me. At the price i paid – £169 for the 16GB/512GB version – i would also say it was a bargain.Just one word of caution: If you do plan on running Linux on it, not many distros yet support video acceleration with the N150 processor. I did manage to get this going eventually with Ubuntu 24.10 and Wayland, but nothing else worked. Without video acceleration, you’re limited to 1080p video.

Good value and easy to set up
I bought this to replace an ageing Lenovo PC which was not able to up-grade to Windows 11.I’m not an expert at IT but the set-up process was very straight-forward. The processor is wonderfully fast compared to my old PC. The memory is only 512 Gbs so I bought a 1Tb SSD storage drive which works well with the new PC.I also bought a CD/ DVD drive so I can still read and burn CDs. It was all very easy and I’m really pleased with this amazing little box.

I was very pleased with this compact pc. My old one just gave up so this is a great alternative. It takes up very little room but has everything you need from a pc. Great value and quality. Thoroughly recommend.

Ich besitze diesen Mini-PC jetzt schon 1 1/2 Jahre und ich muss sagen, dass ich sehr zufrieden bin. Er dient mir als Mediale Schnittstelle für Streamingdienste, die auf meinem Beamer ausgegeben werden. Auch kleinere Spiele über Stream habe ich getestet – diese funktionierten einwandfrei. Er ist handlich, leise und sieht elegant aus.Es muss einem klar sein, dass dieses Gerät seine Grenzen hat und keinen vollwertigen High-End Gaming PC ersetzt. Das Ding kostet nichtmal 200â¬. Da kann man nicht so viel erwarten. Es erfüllt aber alles was ein Tablet kann und einige Dinge mehr noch und die Kosten manchmal ja auch schon zwischen 150â¬-1000⬠je nach Modell.Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Gerät.P.S. wer gerne Challenges macht aller “Singstar” oder “Dance out” kann dieses Gerät gern benutzen. Es funktioniert damit bestens und kann leicht von A nach B transportiert werden, um Freunde herauszufordern 😀

Ich habe bisher aus gründen der Sparsamkeit beim Energieverbrauch einen RaspberryPi als Server genutzt. Nun sind die Anwendungen zahlreicher geworden (Smart-Home, DMS etc.) und der kleine Rechner ist an seine Grenzen gestoÃen. Die Entscheidung war nun, ein weiterer RaspPi oder Umstieg auf eine neue Lösung.Da ich das vorinstallierte Windows 11 sofort durch Ubuntu ersetzt habe, kann ich leider keine Erfahrungen zum Betrieb des Rechners unter Windows beitragen. Linux (Desktop-Version mit zusätzlichen Server-Komponenten) jedenfalls läuft flüssig und zuverlässig. Angesichts der Leistungsaufnahme, die sich nahezu durchgängig im einstelligen Bereich bewegt, ist die Lösung auch energieeffizienter als der Einsatz von zwei RaspPis.Zudem ist von Haus aus eine SSD verbaut, der RAM-Speicher groÃzügig bemessen. Der 24h-Betrieb scheint dem kleinen Rechner nichts anzuhaben, die Wärmeentwicklung erscheint mir im Rahmen.Fazit: ein kleiner Rechner, der (mehr als) ausreichend Leistung für meine Anwendungssituation bereitstellt und damit genug Potenzial besitzt, eventuell noch die eine oder andere, zusätzliche Anwendung zu hosten. Angesichts dessen volle 5 Sterne für die 100%ige Erfüllung meiner Anforderungen zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

Buono, usato per pfsense 2.7.2 community edition un piccolo bug durante l’installazione bisogna aggiungere nel boot/loader.conf (debug.acpi.disabled=”thermal”) per disabilitare ed eliminare l’errore sullo schermo.Funziona tutto perfettamente e due lan sono perfette per un firewall.Consumi elettrici ridicoli, perfetto.

Je cherchais un petit ordinateur afin de l’utiliser pour la domotique et aussi comme émulateur retro-gaming, en réponse à la pénurie des RPi 4 et ce petit ordinateur T8 PLUS a tiré mon attention. Etant en offre, j’ai opté pour le modèle 8Go RAM et 256Go SSD, vu sa petite taille et le processeur récent Intel Alder Lake Î95 (ce n’est plus appelé “Celeron” pour quelque raison) j’étais certain que j’avais trouvé ce que je cherchais. Je rentre, donc, aux détails qui seraient intéressants pour tous :- Taille vraiment petite, 9 x 9 x 4 cm- Matériel plastique ABS de bonne qualité- Ports 3 x HDMI ; 3 x USB v3.0 ; 2 x GLAN- Mémoire RAM de type LPDDR5 ; Bluetooth et Wi-Fi présents- Windows 11 pré-installé ; fixation VESA fournie- Léger ; Ventilateur inaudible (hors tâches exigeantes pour une longue durée)- Bloc d’alimentation 12V 30W indépendant (fourni)Que peut-on faire avec ce mini PC avec une puce catégorie “mobile” et récente de 2023 modèle N95 (quadri-coeur, Cache 6Mo, max turbo fréquence 3.40GHz, TDP 15W) alors ? Pas mal de choses du quotidien : bureaucratique, utilisation à la maison (achats, surfing, e-banking, actus, jouer des vidéos full HD sur TV) et d’autres choses qui n’ont pas vraiment besoin d’un ordinateur plus puissant ; et bien entendu, de la domotique, retro-gaming, etc. vu que les capacités de la carte Intel UHD Graphics intégrée sont suffisantes pour toutes ces activités ci-dessus. Mais attention, si on fait une utilisation un peu plus poussée, le processeur arrive bien entendu à 100% et ce mini PC chauffe un peu, ce qui était le cas avec tous ces Windows Updates faits… donc tout dépend de ce que vous souhaitez faire de ce mini PC.Les 8Go RAM son suffisants pour la plupart de ces besoins, mais je crois toujours à la RAM supplémentaire, donc si votre budget y arrive, optez plutôt pour la version 16Go RAM pour une simple raison : la LPDDR5 RAM ne peut pas changer…Les petits bémols que je note avec ce produit qui est autrement admirable, sont :- On ne peut pas ajouter de la RAM, la LPDDR5 est soudée, c’est soit 8 ou 16Go- Je trouve le cable d’alimentation du bloc un peu court- On ne peut que changer le SSD avec un autre disque M.2 SATA du type 2242 mais le démontage n’est pas facile- Le positionnement des ports HDMI et USB aux deux cotés opposés pourrait gêner certains utilisateurs (3 côtés sur 4 disposent d’un port de connexion…) mais c’est attendu pour un PC de cette petite taille- Pas de mises à jour du BIOS côté fabricant (peut-être pas besoin)Les photos publiées ici par les autres clients donnent une bonne impression de la finition et de l’emballage que l’on reçoit, ainsi que les accessoires (1 x câble HDMI et 1 x fixation pour le faire monter sur des trous VESA de distance 100 mm ou 75 mm). En tout cas, ce T8 PLUS de ACEMAGICIAN répond à mes attentes car il a été acheté pour des raisons spécifiques mais peut très bien servir à beaucoup plus et pour un prix attractif, il est certainement recommandé. Juste insérer votre clé USB d’un clavier-souris combinés, le mettre sous le moniteur comme PC principal ou secondaire, et vous oubliez qu’il est là ensuite.
