Mint condition refurbished 2020 MacBook Pro
I was pretty nervous buying something as expensive as a refurbished MacBook via Amazon but I got to the point where my 2013 MacBook Pro really needed to be replaced. I needn’t have worried. The delivered machine doesn’t have a scratch on it, amazing for a 2020 computer. According to the system report the battery has only been through 150 cycles and a quick test shows it has plenty of life. What do people do with their Macs? Buy them and put them in a cupboard for a few years before buying a new one? The MacOS migration process from my Time Machine was seamless and within an hour my entire environment had transfered over. In summary – very good service and very good machine.

Renewed Mac Book Pro 2020 Model
I must admit I was slightly worried when I ordered a 2020 renewed Mac Book Pro to replace my 2013 model, but I shouldn’t have been! It arrived promptly the next day and looks almost as good as new, a couple of tiny (almost unnoticeable) marks but apart from that the condition is excellent, so no complaints. My Amazon Renewed order came from Tech It Out and their service is excellent. Mac came with full set up instructions was well packaged and transferring data from my old Mac was a piece of cake. Highly recommend!

Touch Bar Flickering Issue and Customer Support Challenges
I recently purchased a MacBook Pro, and shortly after, the touch bar began flickering, which severely impacted its functionality. I sent the laptop for inspection, and the third-party inspection report claimed liquid damage as the cause. However, no clear evidence—such as internal corrosion—was provided to back up this claim. The photos shared only showed areas where I had wiped the laptop with a wet cloth before sending it in, which does not suggest liquid damage.What raised further concerns was that the inspection report included the wrong serial number, which suggests the possibility that the wrong laptop was assessed. This only added to the confusion and lack of trust in the findings.Seeking a second opinion, I visited an official Apple Store, where the technician found no signs of liquid damage, directly contradicting the third-party report.Despite assurances from Amazon customer support that their A-to-Z Guarantee would cover the issue, they failed to honor these promises when it came time to resolve the problem. This lack of follow-through and failure to provide a solution left me frustrated and without a clear resolution to the touch bar issue.Additionally, the charger and inspection report were initially not returned with the laptop. After several follow-ups, I eventually received these items, but by then, the touch bar issue had worsened.Given the combination of product defects, incorrect inspection findings, and poor customer support, I cannot recommend this product or rely on the support processes tied to it.
