Amazing value for the price – even slightly annoying
This is a neeat device.I needed the extra storage as my laptop memory was full and moving stuff on to this drive is a god-send.Overall I have major complaints about this purchase:Pros: Additional storage for laptop and back up, no installation needed – simply connect the 2 USB cable and it is good to go, It worked like migic on my Windows laptop. The drive is nice and small.Cons: Not major – but every once it will the drive seems to ramdomly pop up -not sure whether this is my fault (User error) or drive’s as the device has been with for less than a week.

Took a chance – complete waste of money
One off project that I required to back-up and 320GB was an ideal size. Out the box worked fine, but on re-visiting and trying to access device it crashed and had to format to use again and lost orighinal backed-up content. On trying to save to re-formated device just hung at 20% with message over a day to upload 8 GB. Took a chance, complete waste of time and money. Back to SEAGATE for me.

Does what it says, however I expected more storage. When I plug it in, it says 298GB of storage, when I was expecting near to 320. I understand it maybe less, but not by that much. Otherwise good product. –
