Larger hole should be cut than recommended
Great accessory for echo dot to mount in the ceiling, I would recommend the hole is cut to a minimum of 135mm and not 130mm as stated in instructions. Adjustment of the hole was needed to make it fit and in the process the front cover snapped off, it glued back on successfully though, thatâs my reasons for only 4 stars and not 5. Maybe the manufacturer sees this and updates there instructions ð

Very, very fragile
I tried fitting this to my ceiling but it broke straight away. First, the fit was a bit snug (ok, my hole may have been a bit small) but even light pressure caused the grille to break away from the rim. Then, in trying to remove it to sort that, both clip holdings snapped off. This product is EXTREMELY delicate and very brittle. Personally, I’m now looking elsewhere though previously this was the only one that met my requirements of mounting an Alexa Echo in the ceiling.
