    Easy to set up
I love my new Fitbit. Reminds me to exercise and recording my heart rate, which I find interesting. Helpful when walking fast !! I have signed up for the premium account for 6 months so I can take advantage of the coach apps . Good value for money and I have changed the display several times till I now am happy with the look. Not sure about the ECG , it does say not to relie on it being a medical aid.Function Well and once loaded the app on my phone can see all sorts of things. Sleep patterns etcLots of different features that you can choose to leave on the app or remove. Battery life is long and only takes 2 hrs to go from 15% to 97%

Does what it says – but ….
Upgraded my beloved Charge 2 last year to a Lux and somehow felt slightly underwhelmed like something was missing. So I decided after a year to upgrade back to a Charge. Somehow I’m still slightly disappointed. The screen is lovely – bright and responsive. Its a nice size on the wrist and feels comfy. It tracks what it should, though I have to continually force it to sync with the app.Battery life is great. But it doesn’t feel like an upgrade from what my Charge 2 could track fitness wise.It doesnt track floors.I have now found it wants to be an apple watch and no longer quietly tracks my dog walking – it knows I’ve started but it cant auto stop? Unless I remember to say i’ve finished otherwise it will track me forever more. What!?I tried an apple watch for a couple of months and the reason I didnt get one was the ridiculous size, the ridiculous price and the fact that for such an expensive bit of kit it should be able to automatically detect what I’m doing and when I’m doing it – instead of asking me if i want to track my walk. Because if I dont then it wont! Why is fitbit trying to be apple? This is my greatest gripe. I picked a fitbit because I wanted a fitbit. I dont need youtube or wallet – though a map might be useful.I’ve raved about my Charge 2 for years but now, since Google have taken over i’m just not that impressed anymore. If apple did a small watch now I’d be more tempted to jump ship!Dont get me wrong – its a great bit of kit, especially if you are new to fitbit. If you’re not you may be disappointed.

    Great buy
I bought this to replace my old Fitbit Inspire 2. I did try a cheaper fitness tracker but missed all the Fitbit features so bought the Fitbit Charge 6. It comes with 6 months Fitbit premium.Easy to set up and use. It measures steps, sleep, heart rate, oxygen levels .distance walked and exercise.. Reminders to move each hour and notifications delivered to your watch which you can select which ones. The app delivers your weekly data to your email on a Tuesday. This tracker comes with 2 different sized watch straps and is very comfortable to wear. I just love it.

    Clear display
Purchased to replace my old Versa 3. Even though the screen is much smaller it’s actually a lot clearer (can just about make out what’s on the display at the gym when not wearing reading glasses) and battery life is good.

    Doesn’t sync. Strap too small.
Honestly, just appalling. It synced with my phone originally (even though the app said it wasn’t ever synced, but it was receiving all the data), but then after about three days it de-synced without even notifying me. I didn’t worry too much, as the tracker should be able to store about a week of data locally.Every day I would try multiple times to re-sync the tracker. Nothing ever happened. No explanation was given as to why. No help or suggestions offered by the app. I even changed phones yesterday (not because of this obviously), which was the perfect opportunity to sort this out. It wasn’t. Nothing changed. Identical situation on my new phone. It simply doesn’t work. All of this and honestly I think I’m relieved, because it didn’t fit my wrist. The largest strap hole did not fit my wrist. It was significantly too tight to the point where after having a shower, with my wrist a little damp, I would genuinely struggle to get it back on. I don’t even have big wrists. If you’re a man (if this shows the name of the account holder, note that I’m Lizzie’s husband) with average or above sized wrists, you will not get this on. If you’re a woman, you can probably ignore this paragraph.

    No altimeter
I used a Fitbit Charge 2 for 5 years and its battery was beginning to lose its charge quickly. It wasn’t designed to have an easily replaceable battery, so I went for the Charge 6. By comparison, the Charge 6 lasts a week on a single charge and is an improvement. Using it in an RPM session on a stationary bike, I found it was better than the Charge 2 at tracking my heart rate and closely matched a chest strap I used.It has many extra features that can be used while it is linked to a phone. I tend not to want to be chained to the phone continuously, and find many of the features like notifications to be an irritation, particularly if it is just a weather update. One feature I miss is the altimeter. As a walker, it is quite useful to have a guide to the total ups and downs you have done, and mapping apps don’t always do it.

My charge 5 cease to function only a couple of weeks after the warranty ended. I was sad.My new charge six arrives so quick and has so many cool little features. I hadn’t realized that my charge 5 had so many issues but it must have been dying a slow death.Love the charge 6. It seems to respond much better to the touch and scrolling. All my alerts are getting through along with text and phone call notifications. I live in this thing so it’s really great to have all those features..I have the premium app and I’ve been using the sleep tools. I followed some suggestions it made and it really has helped.I’ve had a Fitbit now for over 10 years. And I don’t think I would go any other way.

Compared to my Versa Fitbit2, it’s awful, tiny screen, and hard to set up. I’ll be finding a battery replacement for my antique FitBit.
