Ideal dock – 100w PD good but has minor design issue
This is a really neat little dock that should meet your peripheral needs well.The only issue I have with this dock is also a feature, but I think one that should be handled with a hardware switch rather than automatically – when the dock is connected to the laptop first, *then* a 100 watt input USB-C power cable is added, the laptop will charge with the full 100 watts. However, if you do it the other way around, the laptop will NOT charge to the full 100 watt capacity as it seems the dock can be powered solely by an input cable, OR the laptop; and depending on which on it is initialised with first will determine whether the full 100 watts of power will go to the laptop or not. This is a problem for my setup as the laptop needs the full 100 watts to function properly (otherwise it slows down due to switching to a lower-power graphics chip, something that cannot be changed by windows “performance” power mode). The main reason I got the dock was to save myself time setting up my laptop or taking it off, but this feature means I have to turn off the power supply before I plug it in, then switch the power on… If a hardware switch were available on the dock to switch between these two modes manually, I would be much happier as I could leave it switched to deliver full power to the laptop at all times – while some users might only need a lower charge rate but want their USB peripherals to be powered at all times even when the laptop is disconnected. Besides that, I can’t really fault the dock – it’s well designed and a reasonable price for the features, though an ethernet port would make it near perfect for £40.

The connecting lead is too short for a lot of applications
The connecting lead is very short – too short in my opinion – and it’s permanently attached so there is no replacing it with an alternative. It’s a shame because this lets down an otherwise superb product. There’s just about enough lead to go from the back of a computer to the top. If you are hoping to go from your desk to a computer on the floor, forget about it.

Bought the very early version years ago- the design makes it easy to access and have on your work desk /bench- quite stable. Just received but data down load very easy with my hard drive. the different connections are exactly what was needed for several devices.excellent

Cannot connect an external screen to MacBook.The Wireless Mouse does not recognise it either. External Hard drive is not detectedUntil now, it looks sturdy, power is charging.Will be returning the product.

This hub is perfect in nearly every way. Sharp looking design. Plenty of ports and connection types. I have one serious quibble with it that forces me to give it 3 stars instead of 5 and that is that external hard drives connected to the hub do not reconnect to my computer (a Mac Mini M4, in this case). Instead, the green light on the hub flashes until I unplug one of my external drives from it and then reconnect it. Then all of my external USB hard drives connect where none of them would before. I haven’t found a fix or workaround to this issue. If I cannot, I’ll likely have to look for another hub solution that doesn’t have this issue. A huge miss for an otherwise outstanding product.UPDATE: After posting my initial review, the team at intpw reached out to me, expressing concern that I wasn’t 100% satisfied with my purchase and saying they wanted to make it right. After working out with their technical leads that I was going to need a powered hub, I was appreciative and figured that would be the end of it. But it was not. The fine folks at intpw weren’t satisfied with just diagnosing my problem. They took it another ten steps forward and offered to provide me with a powered hub that would meet my needs. Up until I actually received the hub from them, I was skeptical that they would actually follow through. But they did, and the replacement hub they sent me (moswl #B0DT6Z3R4F) works absolutely perfectly! No more stalled out external hard drives, even upon a reboot of my system. I couldn’t be happier. It’s refreshing in this day and age to encounter a company that stands by their products and values their customers so strongly and passionately. It’s sadly a rarity anymore, but intpw does it with enthusiasm and sincerity and have made me customer for life. Thank you!

I like the build quality and the design of the hub. It sits on my desk instead of constantly moving around like other hubs. The cord is short, but itâs very flexible. Iâm really happy with that. All the cords fit securely in the hub. Iâm grateful to have this hub as it provides a place for all the cords of my peripherals. Iâm impressed at the quality and itâs very easy to use. The variety of cords it holds all in one place is great for someone who uses a variety of technology in one place. This hub fits securely in a small space on my desk. I havenât used it to charge anything yet, but so far, I love how it adds more function to my technology.

I work from home and am always switching my keyboard, mouse, and monitor between my work laptop and my personal PC. On top of that, I needed also needed to connect my webcam and ring light to my work laptop. I was considering a KVM switch but opted for this instead because itâs more affordable and I have the option to put my work laptop in a drawer after so I can have a true work/home separation.This had everything I needed – a lot of ports for all my devices. But what really impressed me was when I connected my monitor. For context, I have a 4K 60hz display. Normally when I use an HDMI cable to connect to my laptop, I lose viewing quality, which doesnât really matter to me because Iâm just working. The 4K support on this dongle is no joke. I donât think Iâd ever been impressed with how visually stunning my work looked on the monitor. If youâre on the fence about this, just buy it. The value that you get for the price is truly unmatched.
