3 pairs, brown+black good, but the blue were faulty for me
OK, I first ordered a pair of these in brown after trying a different brand around the same price which were awful! These seemed much, much better and well made. After a few weeks of wear they were holding up very well so decided to get another couple pairs, one black, one in the blue. The black ones are fine, but unfortunately, the blue ones are like looking through lenses that have been heavily smeared with fingerprints, despite the fact they are spotlessly clean. Look really cool, but not really wearable. This is a shame as the blue from the outside looks fantastic. They are my favourite ones. I really want to try another pair, but not sure if this is just a one off fault, or an overall issue with these blue, slightly mirrored lenses. Can anyone else confirm? So, overall, seems well built, well presented in hard case with cleaning cloth, bag, even a screwdriver! The mini carabiner fell apart on my almost immediately, but I didn’t care. It’s a change to get some reasonable sunglasses and not get ripped off. I would recommend these, but not the mirrored lenses at this time. I’ll update the review if I get a pair and they are OK.

Do NOT buy for “night vision” reasons, but every driver should wear polarised lenses
Oh Amazon, your ratings are SO WEIRD! These glasses score badly for night vision because they are SUNGLASSES. Do NOT buy these to help you see in the dark – they won’t.But polarising sunglasses (and brown tint ones especially) are THE best thing for driving. Polarising removes glare – sunlight is polarised horizontally so when it reflects off a horizontal surface, vertical polarised filters will reduce reflect light almost entirely. Wet roads with sun on? Glare Be Gone! Shine off car windows? Glare Be Gone! Reflections on water? Glare Be Gone! Like magic.AND sunlight is what makes fog glare during the day – wear these when it’s foggy and you’ll see further and see more. Wear these when there is rain spray (during the day) and you’ll see further and see more. The brown tint emphasises red colours so red lights (brake / rear lights, stop lights etc) all really “pop” at you, making them easier to notice and react to. You’ll be safer using polarised sunglasses in your car – end of. And a tiny difference in hitting the brakes translates to stopping meters shorter than you would have which could save your life – or someone else’s.Optically these are good plastic lenses – not as clear as good glass but as good as any plastic lenses I’ve seen. The frames are nicely made, light and feel strong, grip your head well without drama and the nose pieces are comfortable. Looking straight into the sun you will get some reflection on the inside of the lens but it’s manageable – if you are bothered by it get a hat with a brim (or a sun visor on your cycle helmet).There’s no special features to promote airflow so these might get hot during exercise but I have found that when there is an open bridge or other airflow it directs the air across your eyes, making them extra dry and more prone to getting dust in them. Won’t be such an issue here…The presentation is good – test card is cute but not really necessary IMO (just look at the sky and tilt your head to see the effect of polarising, or any area of open water or a car bonnet) and there is a decent hard case and also an included soft case which doubles as a cleaning cloth, but not a good one if it’s being kept in your pocket or bag most of the time. I think the idea is to use the soft bag inside the hard case but that’s a big faff – get a microfibre lens cloth and keep that in the case instead.

Good quality glasses but I have given 3* because of the poor finish all around. They are also bit heavy and edges are rough. Needs to improve because money they charged is enough to produce smooth craft.

These are quite comfortable and look pretty good. Seem to protect eyes quite well, but I discovered they do not keep the wind out on a windy day – but they probably help. Look quite good without being too aggressive

Der eigentliche Grund warum ich mir die Brille gekauft habe, sind die polarisierenden Gläser. Ich bin positiv überrascht. Ich habe schon ein paar Sonnenbrillen mit polarisierenden Gläsern und diese sehr viel günstigere Brille macht das gleiche wie meine anderen Brillen. Besonders positiv empfinde ich auch die Bügel, da sie ein wenig nachgeben und somit sehr gut am Kopf sitzen. Kann ich empfehlen!

Nachdem die Brille feucht geworden ist, hat sich die Beschichtung sofort gelöst und sie ist jetzt nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Das ist Schade!

Questa tipologia di occhiali, la stessa identica, l’ho comprata dall’ottico della mia città e l’ho pagata tra i 120 euro (due anni fa) e i 140 euro (sei mesi fa). E li ho anche regalati (altri 140 euro + 140 euro).E sono belli occhiali da sole: per me che non sono certo un precisino, devono adeguarsi alle seguenti esigenze:1) d’inverno metterli nella tasca del giaccone SENZA ogni volta riporli nell’astuccio,2) metterli in una tasca alla rinfusa, come capita, magari insieme alle chiavi, rischiando di graffiare le lenti come poi effettivamente accade, ma non fa niente,3) d’estate metterli in macchina, sbatterli in giro insieme alle 10 cose di cui uno è schiavo: telefono personale, telefono aziendale, chiavi di casa, chiavi della macchina, portafogli, ecc ecc.Quindi l’esito è? Rovinarli o più spesso PERDERLI: cosa FREQUENTE, purtroppo, ed INEVITABILE.Ecco, uno si domanda: ma si può ogni volta che ci si distrae spendere 140 euro? “Non trovo più gli occhiali”…. e giù 140 euro.Poi ho trovato questi, gli stessi dell’ottico, se non migliori: montatura solida, lenti polarizzate di “cristallo”, perfetti. Solo che non costano 140 euro, ma….. 25 euro!!!Li ho provati con Prime, dopo che ho perso gli ultimi: mi sono detto “Al massimo se fanno proprio schifo li rimando indietro.” Ecco, ho scoperto un mondo di occhiali a 25 euro!Questo è il caso di dire “Grazie Amazon, mi hai liberato da quel “ladrone” dell’ottico!” 🙂
