    Great product
My child absolutely loves it and wears it everyday. it’s such a good way for my child to track their everyday activities and we can have a competition to see who does more steps they always win.Battery life lasts a good few days maybe more over a week.Took a couple of days to for them to figure out how it all works. But once they got used to its functionality they were good to go.Would definitely recommend.

    Appreciated Gift
Bought this as a birthday present for my grandson, who absolutely loves it. He takes great pride in telling me how many steps he has done. Had problems at first registering it on the fitbit app but sorted it with some help.

    Poor quality purchase
Very hard to set up. Keeps switching off despite fully charged and now the fixture has snapped. I would not buy again.

Decent kids’ version of the adult Fitbit
Bought this for our 12 year old son because it wasn’t possible to set up an account for him with the Fitbit Inspire (that we had previously bought), as he is under the age of 13. Google this issue if you are thinking of buying an Inspire (or any other “adult” Fitbit) for an under 13. Anyway, the Ace works just like an adult Fitbit except that it has various kiddie features that our son isn’t interested in (being a mature 12 year old). So he and we are very pleased with it. Our only reservation relates to the strap, which fell off and proved impossible for us to re-fit (it requires very nimble fingers – which we don’t have – to be able to put the spring pin back in). But we sorted this by buying a generic replacement strap from Amazon, which is easier to fit and (being elasticated) easier to wear.

Working well after sync problems at start
Did not sync to app at start. But software update at start of September 24 has resolved syncing issues. Working well now.

    Great first smart watch
Ideal gift, my 6 year old loves it, step counter and active minutes tracking. Has stop watch and timers, nice and basic for a young child no cameras or games

    Great device for kids
My son loves his Fitbit. He enjoys tracking his sleep and his steps in his watch. It’s the perfect fit for for him and is adjustable. The battery life is brilliant it lasts for days. Easy to figure out how to use the features of the device and was easy to connect to Bluetooth and WiFi. When he gets a phone of his own we will upgrade to a Fitbit that can connect to a phone but for now this is great for him.

Mon fils est satisfait de sa montre. Plusieurs fonds disponible.

*April 2022 update at the end*We’ve had this Fitbit Ace 3 since launch, and I’d like to point out a few of the upgrades when compared to the Fitbit Ace 2:- More rounded / Curved shape, seems like it would feel more comfortable to wear. The part to tuck in the strap is also better, strap doesn’t come out as often if your kid had that issue- Better screen – the animations and display look better- Longer battery life. It is now 8 days instead of 6, and the battery noticeably lasts much longer- New animated faces (a few), with apparently Minion licensed content and straps coming soon- No more one button on the left. Both left and right side have these two touch sensors which can be used for going back to the menu or activating the water lock- Waterproofing has been improved to a depth of 50m, but if your kid is going for a swim, they’ll have to turn on the water lock (long press of both sensors, and then double tap screen when it asks you to)- Still connects seamlessly with the Fitbit app and kids view mode etc.- BIGGEST UPGRADE: Fitbit has since the last 2-3 years moved to bad charging connectors in my opinion, the old Alta 2 ones were the best. The Ace 2 and Inspire use magnetic chargers made of plastic but they don’t hold well. With the Ace 3, they’ve added two clips that hold the charger in place. Not sure if other new fitbit chargers have this, but this is a big upgrade from the old Ace 2 charger which was not easy to hold in placeAll in all, neat upgrades to the best kids tracker out there, at the same price point as before!July 2021 update: as promised, Fitbit has updated the app to include new Minion animated faces! Kid loves it, thanks! :)April 2022 update: alright guys, the Fitbit Ace 3 that we have is going strong. Through sports, getting wet, and the daily wear and tear of a 6 year old. But CHECK THIS.. the battery life is just INCREDIBLE. This Ace 3 holds charge for 3-4 weeks easily. Easily. I’m curious to hear other peoples experience as we have a day one device, but I’m just blown away. They said the battery life was upgraded to 8 days, but going almost a month without charge is just amazing. Well done, Fitbit. Well done.
