Easy to set up. Connect to WiFi quickly. Work with Alexa. I’ve named each bulb and ask alexa to turn it on and off.There is an app too to do all this if you haven’t got alexa.You can choose any colour you want. From red to green. turn light to whatever colour you want and even the level of brightness. I ask alexa to turn the light to say 10% for relaxing or 100% for bright light. Or just use the app to do this.Had these for well over a year. Very reliable, steady, not a single issue with them. And being LED the electric cost is tiny in comparison to a regular bulb and for infinitely better item than dies so much more.

Better controlled via other services
The bulbs work well and, once set up, are easy to control via other assistant/smart home services like Google Home. Setting them up could certainly be easier, as going through the Avatar app is a bit fiddly, and I couldn’t make heads nor tails of the scene/schedule settings for something as simple as turning the bulbs on/off from a widget on my phone. Maybe I’m missing something obvious, but either way, I found it incredibly useful that you can link them to other services (in my case, Google Home) and fully control them that way instead. Much easier to work with than the Avatar app, and I’ve not had any issues with the bulbs themselves since!

Brilliant bulb
Would not let me log into the app because WiFi was 5g, so I could not use the bulbs. My router is 5g and 2.4g. 5g is very localised, so I moved further from the router to where only 2.4g can reach and it worked a treat. I can now use Alexa to control the bulbs.

I’m not daft with this sort of thing but hard as I try neither Bulb will get recognised by the App.My Sky Router meshes 2.4 & 5ghz so split those so this could connect to the 2.4 and still nothing, Blue Tooth fails to see either Bulb which is an indication they are not going to work for me.Strange as my Blink Mini x5 Cameras see the meshed ghz and connect to the 2.4 only without any config of my Router, These are going back and looking for alternatives.OK.So update, I in typical male fashion forgot to return these so I thought one more go at it.This time I followed the included instructions that came in the Box and they connected, Not exaxtly the easiest device I’ve had to deal with but they connected non the less.I must admit the App has a nice GUI, Will see hoe these perform in the future..

Got 2 bulbs connected to the same light fitting, 1 connected to the WiFi with no trouble, the second bulb would not connect despite multiple tries.

they don’t last
I bought a set of these bulbs where neither lasted for more than a month. I thought I must have bought from a bad batch (or maybe they got jostled in shipping), so I bought another set. Same thing. When I asked for a return, they wanted evidence of the light not coming on. I sent a video and never heard back. Won’t be using this brand again.
