VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND SET UP
Very pleased with this Printer. Ideal for home office use. Quality seems very good and it does everything easily when you have mastered the operation of all the features available. Print,scan and copy quality is excellent. My only negative is that a user manual is not in the box, but most subjects are available on the Canon website.Beware about the cost of print cartridges, but Canon have an automatis service for cartridge replacement which is very competetive, which I signed up for, so I will never run out of ink !!Have since used it for photographs which is the best way to test the print quality. The prints are so good they will be framed. Well done Canon. A Great piece of kit .

It prints fine.
Itâs a bit slow and noisy. But the quality of prints is decent. Easy to set up and not too heavy to carry. Good office printer.

Great delivery service by supplier
We were very impressed when the supplier called to let us know when our printer would be arriving and then phoned again to check it had arrived safely. The set up was reasonably straightforward. The quality of the print is good too. As we are using up old inks on ailing our old printer we are not using this new one regularly yet but so far everything looks great.

Bit of a disaster.
It was a bit of a disaster. I got the printer set up fine and printed the first test page (which jammed, which I figured was just bad luck). The black ink was faded and then stopped appearing at all. I phoned Canon customer service and spent 30mins on the phone doing 2 ‘cleans’, a ‘deep clean’ (to unclog the printer, apparently) and then I was told to turn off the printer for 24hrs, do another ‘deep clean’ and see what happened. I waited the 24hrs and did the ‘deep clean’ but then couldn’t test the printer as the cleans had used up all of the actual ink in the cartridges. When I told Canon this, they told me to buy more ink to see if the printer was working. By this point, the most I had got from the printer was one faded poster and the ink that had been originally paid for (that had come with the printer) had been used up trying to fix the printer and get it to work properly.I was told by Canon and by their Amazon Distributors that they wouldn’t send me more ink to test if the printer was working as it might be a waste of their money, if the printer was actually broken. I pointed out that I had wasted days on a faulty printer but they made it clear that it wasn’t really their problem. They offered to refund the printer and send someone to pick it up so I packaged the printer back up and gave it to the pick up guy the next day. I got my refund 4 days later. All a bit of a time waster and I wouldn’t recommend the experience to anyone else.

Excellent value for money
Bought this to replace an older (but not much older) Canon printer that had caused us a lot of problems by refusing to print from iPads/iphones. Could not get Canon to give any practical solutions. Looked at other makes, but they were either too expensive or you were tied into their inks. Eventually decided to give Canon another chance and so far this model is excellent. Prints easily and quickly. Iâm not printing photos so am happy to use compatible inks from other companies. Time will tell, but so far very pleased with it.

Good value Just over a 100 pounds sterling Good printer if printing only a few.pages a week because of cost and 3 colours one cartridge replacement Canât find other cartridge maker replacements So have to buy expensive CANON own cartridges
