Bought this as a family laptop for kids homework and general work. Do check out the dimensions, this is more like a tablet in size. Made it work for us by pairing it with a large secondary monitor and external mouse and keyboard. Performance is decent enough, has frozen once for me doing development work with no way of recovery without power cycle. Lovely quality feel to the case. Screen is nice, sound passable. Google integrations work beautifully, allowing us all to use our own profiles and easy to setup kid safe profiles (which can be linked to their schools). Being purely web based isn’t an issue with Google docs etc available. Be aware you can’t install traditional apps but you can run any app from the Play store (in a phone sized window). It has local storage for file downloads. Overall I’m happy based on the price, we had a cheaper chromebook once and it was just awful, this is the minimum spec you would want.

Great laptop
Works perfectly well, love the touchscreen and 360 degree property! Charge life is good around 6 hours. Picture quality is beautiful, it is very crisp like a tv screen! Only issue is as a Uni student since it is chromebook microsoft documents would be converted to google documents so I would have to work on onedrive basically, also there are no coding keys such as F10 etc but I did not require it so it’s fine overall. It is very efficient.

Best travel computer ever!
Weighs virtually nothing and can fit into any bag. Travelled for a month with this tiny chromebook and it was fabulous. Boots right up, and connects to my Google-universe seamlessly. Came with a super fast USB charger, but will charge (slower) via any USB C charger, so if I have limited space I can use the same charger for both mobile and Chromebook. I have a higher spec Chromebook at home, which is slightly faster. However, this little Chromebook is a game changer for travel! Must have!

Chromebook is junk !
Received the device and immediately out of the box the cursor was skipping between input boxes. Watching you tube videos it was skipping ahead x5. Device has been in for repair under warranty and has come back exactly the same and I have been told there is nothing wrong with it. The device is not fit for purpose and is useless.update : two weeks of back and forth with Samsung, no joy. They keep promising to call you and never do. I am convinced this was a defective return and sold on. Anyway Amazon were brilliant and refunded the full amount and I bought a Acer Chromebook from Argos instead. Good luck with buying cheap Samsung, BTW this device was under ‘Samsung Warranty’.Update, Acer is much better than the poor quality Samsung rubbish.

Very nice looking Chromebook – just don’t expect much!
Received this free with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and I can see why.It’s a very lightweight, quick, long-life machine, aimed for on the go work rather than desktop activities.The keyboard layout is a nice size, with a responsive touch pad (on the small side but it works well). The screen is not the best, the viewing angle is limited so not optimal for multiple people to view. The Chromebook can go to a 180 degree angle, but you still have the viewing angle issue. It’s also not touch screen, which is a shame as the screen is a good size for it.The audio is not the best – the speakers are underneath so the audio is muffled when placed on a surface. It can be quite quiet even on max volume, but this isn’t an entertainment device so it makes sense.Surprisingly it can run some games – Minecraft was included for free and it ran quite well. The device is very fast at loading apps too and feels responsive.This is a good machine for portability and for taking notes on something that’s larger than your phone or tablet. Not something I’ll use for work, but could be a good device for a child to introduce them to computing or for note taking.
