This is one of the better smart watches I have tested and I actually now wear this as a regular part of my own fitness regimen. The screen touch response is excellent bordering on perfect.Display quality is also visibly superior to a vast number of budget smartwatches as this one is clear, sharp and bright.Straps included are both well made and once installed make this either a really cool looking sport watch or a very classy dress watch depending on your choice and selected face.Biometric reading matched the ones on my more expensive smart watches almost exactly as well as the vast selection of sports and activities in the slections of the menus make this watch an absolute bargain for the price. It has literally replaced a smartwatch from a REALLY big company that I have used for a year now at more than 5x the price.I do NOT enjoy the app as it is not particularly well functioning for me but it’s a good start and with fine tuning will be great.Connectivity to phone for calls and messages is rock solid and reliable but I don’t recommend using the watch speaker for anything other than basic notifications.I very highly recommend this watch to people who want a reliable and accurate smartwatch for an incredibly good price.

I had high hopes for this after trying a FitBit which failed 3 times in under a year, and Apple product that only works with their phone and I prefer Android. This smart watch works as advertised and has a good battery life. While this one doesn’t compare to the Apple or FitBit products in most ways, it is a good and much cheaper option with most of the expected basic features and some premium! Additionally, the battery lasts much longer than an Apple product.Pros:+ Setup is simple and easy, basic manual included if required.+ Battery life has been upto 8 days depending on use, average is 3 days with moderate usage. I do about 80-100K steps a day.+ Large Digital Display, easy to read+ Customizable watch faces+ Fairly accurate tracking for sleep and daily activity+ Has held up thru intensive factory work and daily wear+ Tracking is fairly accurate, lacks abit on the sleep tracking+ Has built-in voice assistant; not Alexa and it works fairly accurately+ Phone & Text via watch work well with no noticeable lagCons:- App when running can reduce your phone battery quicker than expected.- App requests a lot of permissions, adjust as you see fit.- When used to operate music, only will show forward, backward, and play/pause.- Weather doesn’t sync properly sometimes- No NFC feature for paymentsNeutral:± Special charging cord required, don’t loose.± Sensitive touch screen even after adjustment± Plastic/Rubber Watch band feels cheaperOverall it’s a great option with lots of features. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars or for a youth/teen that may not be as careful with more expensive items. Bonus: it works well with both Android and Apple phones!

This is a reasonably decent (albeit basic in comparison to most others) fitness tracker/smart watch (ST2B) that appears well-built and for the most part works as expected. It has 2 of the most common monitors (HR and SpO2 but not BP) which are quite typical for these fitness trackers nowadays. What set this apart from many others though is that it comes with a stainless steel strap as well as a TPU one; I personally prefer stainless steel strap. Of course, one of the best features of this is that it has an AMOLED screen that’s noticeably better than most others. It does have many of the standard features as most other budget or off-brand smart watches have and the screen can be set to always stay on if needed. In addition, it has 3x crowns/pushers, which is great because additional shortcut keys can be set with them.â¡ NoteThese so-called SMART WATCHES are really just FITNESS TRACKERS with added features (i.e. flashlight, calculator; mostly useless ones too) and it’s NOT a true smart watch/device. A true smart device operates by itself on its own without the NEED to install an App for it to run and without depending on another device (i.e. your phone) to run.For instance, if your PHONE requires an App to be installed on a LAPTOP in order for various functions on your phone to work, or if your phone would lose certain features WHEN your laptop goes offline, would you consider your phone to be a SMART phone? Well, I wouldn’t and I’ll be extremely upset if that’s the case, and that’s exactly what happens here most of these so-called smart watches.###â¡ FeaturesBy standard I don’t mean one or two, in fact, the standard nowadays is about a dozen or so including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen monitor just to name a few. Unfortunately, it only has 2 monitors whereas many others have 3 instead. What’s worse is that the HR monitor doesn’t seem to be accurate at all (SpO2 appears to be reasonably accurate for the most part although we know the figures for the vast majority of healthy people is usually either 98% or 99%) which is quite upsetting to have found out after numerous tests. In addition, the steps counter seems to be off by about 3600+ so that’s not exactly accurate either but it’s certainly not the worst.I should also mention that an increasing large number of these devices that I’ve come across lately have all suffered from the same (or at least quite similar) issues which implies to me that perhaps hardware (sensors and/or other related components) under the hood is identical across ALL of these watches. It also has the typical sports and/or exercise related features that many others have. It has a reasonably large screen of 1.32″ (for round case) in comparison to many others with a 1.22/1.28″ screen. With that being said, 1.32″ is somewhat of a norm at this point in time for these watches with a round case so that’s that. I should also note that the advertised 100+ sports requires the app; otherwise, only a handful or so are available (which is more than most people would need under normal circumstance). The same can be said for watch faces/styles too and that’s a common practice for these nowadays.â¡ BatteryIts battery capacity is 260 mAh but it’s unverified although that’s about the norm (around 300 mAh or so) for these trackers. In either case, whatever the capacity might be, the only thing I really care is that it can last me an entire day (charge once a day is fine with me). With that being said, I also don’t have a clue about the longevity of the battery but that’s a common concern for all rechargeable smart watches out there (i.e. battery dies unexpected fast). Note that the default screen timeout is 5sec which is unusably short for me but it can be increased up to 30 seconds (whereas some other can’t t at all while a few can do 60 sec) so that’s great. I don’t necessarily want 30 sec but it’s nice to have the options (I set mine to 15sec). It can always be disabled if needed as aforementioned.â¡ Water resistanceBtw, these fitness trackers/smart watches are NOT meant to be submerged in water (salty or otherwise) longer than a few minute even though they often advertise as being IP67 or even 3 ATM which is completely nonsensical if you know what that really means (around 30m under water but it’s really meant for accidental submersion); otherwise, there is an extremely high probability that it will die prematurely, as I’ve found out the hard way.â¡ AppFor those who are curious about what the ‘Glory Fit’ app (3.1 rating) requires;â Any data may be shared with other companies or organizations, including but not limited to;* Email address and Phone number, Fitness info, Precise location, Photos and videos, Contacts* SMS or MMS, Files and docs, Installed apps, Device or other IDsâ Data isn’t encrypted (typical practice in China)* Data is encrypted during transitâ Device & app history* read sensitive log dataâ Contacts* read your contactsâ Location* approximate location (network-based), precise location (GPS and network-based)â Phone* directly call phone numbers, read call log, read phone status and identity, Photos/Media/Files* read the contents of your USB storage, modify or delete the contents of your USB storageâ Storage* read the contents of your USB storage, modify or delete the contents of your USB storageâ Camera & Microphone* take pictures and videos, record audioâ Wi-Fi connection information* view Wi-Fi connectionsâ Device ID & call information* read phone status and identityâ Other* receive data from Internet, view network connections, pair with Bluetooth devices, control vibration* access Bluetooth settings, control flashlight, full network access, run at startup, prevent device from sleepingâ NoteLike nearly all other budget smart watches (or any other ‘smart’ devices really) out there, an App is REQUIRED for this to function at its fullest which means you are giving the manufacturer (and whoever they decide to share it with or without your permission) AND the app OWNER (i.e. some company in China and that equates to the gov in this case) your COMPLETE and entire historical data. Some people consider some of these (i.e. precise GPS location, health info, heart rate, blood pressure, or the alike) to be ‘extremely’ personal information and therefore are private. Data mining, analysis, prediction, and eventually profit making and/or a form of control will be vital in many aspects of our lives in the foreseeable future. If this concerns you at all, look elsewhere.###â¡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent FITNESS TRACKER (with some smart watch functions) that works just fine if you don’t care about any of the issues mentioned above , in particular the issues with the HR monitor and to a certain degree the step counter. It’s reasonably priced at $60 for what it provides (a generic fitness tracker, ST2B) and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
