Good Value for Money with Solid Performance
I’ve been trying out the JOIOT portable SSD with a 512GB capacity, and I think it’s a pretty good find. The price is £49.99, but with a 10% voucher available, it turns into a rather decent deal, especially when you consider its performance and portability.In my tests, I hooked it up using a USB Type-A port linked to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 chipset. The results were quite respectable: I got 1000MB/s for read speeds and 819MB/s for write speeds. While these speeds are decent for an external SSD, they don’t quite match the advertised speeds of up to 1900MB/s read and 1600MB/s write. I’m guessing the actual speeds you get might depend on the technology of the device you connect it to.The SSD itself is quite compact and comes with a nifty orange protective case, which is brilliant for keeping it safe from knocks and bumps. All in all, I’d say it’s a solid choice and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a handy and reliable external SSD.

Practical portable SSD drive with fast transfer speed
I work with a lot of video files and sometimes I end up having even 60 gb of footage per day and for that reason I needed an external hard drive I can backup all my files and this one is good for what I need.The capacity of it is 512 gb but when I have checked it is somewhere around 500 gb(this is absolutely normal for all the drives) and because I copy and delete a lot of files, I can do the conclusion that the transfer speed is quite fast and besides these the hard also comes with a protective case and I really appreciate this because this goes with me everywhere and as I put it in my backpack I like to make sure that it is well protected.The performance of this hard drive is as I expected and one other thing that I consider to be quite important to mention is the fact that it has usb a port and if I simply remove it there is usb c so I can use it with different devices.

Ich bereue keinen Tag den Kauf dieser winzigen, praktischen Festplatte, die man easy in der Hosentasche mitnehmen kann.Mein Verwendungszweck: ich stöpsle es an mein Smartphone, ziehe mir große Dateien – in meinem Fall Fotos (ich nutze RAWs auch am Handy) und Videos – auf die SSD, nehm’ dann den USB-Steckeradapter und überspiele die Dateien in den PC oder ins Notebook.Ja, natürlich ginge das auch drahtlos oder über den Umweg der Cloud.Physisch ist es aber teilweise schneller, vor allem sicherer und ich hab auch bessere Kontrolle über meine Daten, die ich dann meist am Rechner noch (nachbearbeite).Ein praktisches Teil und – ich hab’s im Rahmen einer Rabattaktion entdeckt – ein idealer Begleiter auch in allen Bereichen, wo es um Datensicherung/übertragung geht.
