Simple, effective multi-port USB-C dock
I purchased this hub to be a dock so I can move between work and home and have a similar setup in both places (I have a dock at work). It enables me to connect to my fast broadband, charge my Macbook, extend the display to a second monitor and connect additional equipment including a keyboard and mic and all works very well. The hub does get quite warm/hot when in use, but cools quickly once disconnected. For me, it is excellent value for money. The HDMI port on mine failed suddenly after 3 months, but I have given a 5-star rating because Lemorele provided excellent customer service. I emailed them about the issue, they replied within 24 hours, and sent me a replacement hub immediately to remedy the issue. While it would, of course, have been better had the original hub not developed that fault, electrical equipment can be temperamental, and buying from a company with excellent customer service can really take the stress out of a situation should it break/fail.

Mostly great, except USB-C data port doesnât seem to support USB-C monitor signals?
I was looking for a USB-C hub with at least 65W PD (Power Delivery) and two USB-C ports, for comfortably under £40, to use with my iPad Pro. This Lemorelle hub seemed to fit the bill, and I got a decent âvoucherâ to put towards it.Headline: for the most part, the hub does the job nicely.Plenty of âprosâ to highlight with this device from the outset. Itâs slim and pretty compact, especially given the generous port allocation it offers: 2 x USB 2.0 (for your input devices, mostly); 2 x USB 3.0 (for the storage devices and other items which need the speed); 2 x USB-C (one for 100W PD, and one for data – donât mix them up, apparentlyâ¦); 1 x Gigabit Ethernet; 2 x 4K-capable HDMI; *and* 2 x card slots (SD and MicroSD). Thatâs pretty much everything I could want to use with an iPad Pro, and Iâm pleased to report that it can make use of all the above ports (with one minor caveat – see below).Another real plus-point for an iPad Pro: the USB-C âhostâ cable on this hub, is roughly 25cm in length. I tend to use the iPad with a kickstand in âlandscapeâ orientation, meaning the iPadâs single USB-C port is raised about 15cm off the desk. Some other USB-C hubs come with a âhostâ cable that is much shorter – barely 15cm or even less – and that leaves the hub âdanglingâ, which looks untidy and probably doesnât do the ports and cables any good. No such problem with the Lemorelle hub, so top marks there.I mentioned a âcaveatâ above, and itâs this: it appears that the âdataâ USB-C port doesnât work with HDMI-over-USB-C signals. I have an AILRINNI USB-C portable monitor which I sometimes use with the iPad Pro, to give a secondary workspace for apps (this has been possible since the iPadOS 16.2 update in Dec 2022).Basically: if I connect the monitor via USB-C to the hub, it isnât recognised by the iPad. There is a workround with the AILRINNI monitor, which offers three (!) USB-C ports: in my experience, you can connect the power supply, the iPad and the hub to all three USB-C ports, and everything appears to work fine. (In effect, the monitor acts as the âmasterâ docking-station, and the hub daisy-chains off that.)Itâs an odd problem, which isnât limited to the USB-C monitor. It also occurs when I use my Sabrent USB-C KVM switch (so I can share my HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse between my iPad and another computer). With the iPad, everything works fine as long as I connect the USB-C cable from the switch, directly to the iPad.However, if I plug the KVM cable into the USB-C hub (so I can use the hubâs ports – e.g. Ethernet – and the monitor/keyboard/mouse from the KVM), the input devices work fine on the iPad, but the monitor isnât recognised. I could connect the monitor directly via one of the hubâs HDMI ports, but it would obviously be âtidierâ if the cable from the KVM switch could carry the display signal.I have also tested this with my ASUS Chromebook Flip C101PA, and I get the same problem: it looks as if this USB-C hub canât send HDMI/display output over its USB-C port. This is not a âshowstopperâ for me – more a minor irritation – but I feel I should mention it in case it is more serious for another user. That said: in every other respect, this is the closest Iâve come to a USB-C hub or docking-station that gives me all the features I would want to use (and certainly for under £40).

Perfect hub for Steam Deck
I’m very happy with this item and I like the fact that it’s very slim.I mainly used it with the Steam Deck and the 3 usb ports are very convenient to plug keyboard and mouse while using a memory stick at the same time. The extra usb-c port is also great to plug an external hard drive. It also works perfectly with my Macbook which is an added bonus. Finally, I also want to give kudos to the support team for being very reactive and very helpful. I reached out to them with some questions and they were able to help me very quickly.Definitely recommend!
