Brilliant remote which should improve with firmware updates
Had this a little while now and it’s been really good so far. Battery lasts a good while and I love that it’s rechargeable. The find feature is great too. I don’t like hundreds of buttons and before I got this, would mostly use a Chromecast remote, so this one is a nice transition that still has a minimalist feel, but is able to control lots more stiff in the room. if you have other Switchbot devices, you can control them. I have it setup to open and close the curtains and turn the fireplace on and off, which feels… “premium”, for lack of a better term. I’d love to see it integrated with Home Assistant which would allow me to turn my lights on and off.It could do with some updates to add some more icon options to the customisable buttons, and to make the edit functions consistent across all device types, but these are minor issues in my opinion.Overall it’s great. Easy to use once you have it setup, great form factor, feels nice and is especially good if you have other Switchbot devices in the room.

Easy to use and good battery life
Iâve been using this a month now. Itâs easy to setup and configure to your needs. I added custom volume signals to my sky tv controls to control my unsupported stereo. The battery life is really good, and no issues.

Yep
Works well. Could do with more functionality though.

Replaced 5 of my remotes.
This is an excellent product. I have replaced 5 of my remotes with this and setup several different tasks, so that I can switch on or off multiple items with one button press! Seems to be supported well by the manufacturer as seeing regular firmware and new devices being improved or added. It is a good quality remote and holds the charge for many, many days. It also looks great!

Decent Idea, But Compatibility Issues
I had high hopes for the SwitchBot Universal Remote Control with Hub Mini, but unfortunately, it didnât work as well as I expected. The setup process was straightforward, and the app is easy to use, but I ran into compatibility issues that made me return it.ðº Not Compatible with Virgin Media Box â This was a big disappointment for me, as I mainly got it to control my Virgin TV box. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it to work.ð¡ Difficult to Set Up for LG TV â While it did recognize my LG TV, it was a struggle to find the right remote profile, and even when I did, some functions were missing or unresponsive.â Good Concept & Works for Some Devices â It did control a few basic IR devices in my home, like an older fan and my soundbar, but the lack of wider compatibility was frustrating.I can see this working well for some people, especially if all their devices are supported. But for me, it didnât cover the essentials, so I had to return it. Decent product, but check compatibility before buying!

Expensive and unreliable
Expensive for what it is. It was really difficult to set up and needed a firmware update before it could be used. It frequently loses connection from the hub which is in the same room, and I’d say 60% of the time, it doesn’t actually work and I either have to press the buttons again or go into the app to control the function manually.

Excellent button to work with the lock
Excellent and high quality. I donât even know there is a holder included that you can stick to the wall. The button is cute and of high quality. I use it to pair with my SwitchBot lock and it works like a charm. With this upgrade my old SwitchBot lock now works like the pro version but I think is safer as I can put the button far away from the lock itself.

Wouldnât connect to WiFi??
While this looked nice and seemed the best remote to replace my aging Logitech Harmony, unfortunately I could not get it to connect to my wifi. I have connected loads of things without fail but this remote proved to be extremely frustrating. Reset multiple times. WiFi router set to different settings but nothing would work. Returned for a full refund.

I recently purchased and tested about 3 weeks since I purchased about 3 weeks ago. For me, it has been a great addition to my smart home setup.Good stuffs below (also cons will follow after this ;)- As a non-techy(?) person (esp me, lol), the entier setup was incredibly straightforward, taking only about 10 minutes to pair with my existing devices. The vast code database made the process smooth.- I love the convenience of controlling up to 25 devices, including both IR and Bluetooth options. It has significantly decluttered my living space by replacing multiple remotes.- The ability to set up custom scenes is fantastic. I particularly enjoy the âLeave Home Modeâ where my devices automatically power down, and my little itti bitty smart Robovac starts cleaning.- Integration with Matter is a game-changer. I can now control my Philips Hue lights and IKEA curtains seamlessly through the SwitchBot remote.- The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 150 days on a single charge. It provides peace of mind, knowing I wonât have to recharge frequently. I think it has motion sensor or movement sensor since I noticed it turns on the LED when I lift or grab the remote which was great! As not all products are perfect there are some cons as well:- The initial connection with some of my older devices took a bit longer than expected. While the extensive code database is helpful (I have attached screenshot of the app), it required a bit of patience to get everything working correctly.- Although it works with many devices, it would be nice to see support for even more brands in the future (more likely U.S. based), particularly for newer smart home products.Overall, this one was a solid investment (imo) for anyone looking to streamline their smart home experience. It brings convenience and efficiency to managing multiple devices, and the long battery life is a definite plus. Idk why it has some negative reviews, it might be not for someone who doesn’t undeerstand any of technical products like this. For me? well, highly recommended, with just a few areas for improvement!
