It’s lightweight but works well
Handy and smart looking little bit of kit to keep the Oculas altogether and charged up, the base itself is quite lightweight I’ve stuck a couple foam sticky pads underneath just to keep it in place when you lift the headset off, and remove the controls…Can be wall mounted but didn’t fancy that idea personally….All in all happy with it and gets people asking what it is….

Looks good and keeps the VR off my son’s desk
I bought this after paying £400 for my son’s VR and he was still using the box it came in to store it. So this puts it up out of the way and keeps it safe. It charges the VR headset but not the hand charges. He’s happy with it and I’m more than happy that I know it’s safely stored. Would happily recommend.

Does not work with a custom head strap.
I bought this for my quest 2 first of all it doesn’t connect well and has to be in a very specific position for it to actually connect and start charging also it does not work well if you have a custom head strap which lots of people do you also cant turn off the light on it which is annoying if you are trying to sleep while charging it.

poor quality and poorly designed product – fails to perform its purpose
The dock is made of a crappy plastic similar to a child’s toy, so it makes that plastic stretching noise while you handle it and press on it. Additionally, it’s very light which means that the magnet that is meant to align the power connector to the oculus, is strong enough to carry the dock with the oculus as you lift it. You will have to secure this in place with something like double-sided tape or pads.Even when the magnets do engage it’s possible that it’s not going to align correctly with the oculus and deliver no power, this prompted this review because the most frustrating thing is picking up the oculus to find out that it still has no charge. Time spent getting this to align correctly is longer than just plugging it in directly…The slots for the controllers are not detachable and again are poor quality in terms of feel, they are perfectly moulded to the shape of the controllers which turns out to be undesirable as it makes it incompatible with cases/wraps for the controllers.I didn’t buy this for looks, just wanted to have something to put the oculus in quickly, but, since nothing else is going for it, it looks pretty lack luster also.All things considered, I’d strongly recommend something else, this sucks.

I was intending to charge my headset in my bedroom. The lights that are always on when charging from the stand made this impractical. There is a little magnetic plug you put in the usb-c port on the side of the head set to use the stand, I have the battery pack strap so this means I need to remove this small connector every time I use the battery pack.The charge rate is ok yet itâs not worth the hassle. It looks like this will end up in the next opshop drop next clean up as a plug and cord do a better job.If your looking for a stand for a glowing RGB computer setup this maybe the right fit for you. I often charge during long periods of play time and only having the stand to charge or having to remove the little magnetic plug is a pain -I was after something neat and compact for ease of use turned out to be just more stuff and a hassle to use.
