My wife has Altzhiemer’s and can become confused, adgitated or unable to leave her bed. The camera notifies me if she’s gone walkabout, and I can observe to make sure she’s okay. By activating the motion detection on my phone (via the app), I’m aware if she’s moving around and can check that all is well, or if I need to intervene.The setup is very simple; you will need to install the app on your smart device to pair and configure, but that’s about it. Once set in position, the camera looks after itself. When it’s dark in the room, you can hear a ‘click’ and the red LED’s turn on for nightlight function. As this is a night light human eyes won’t really notice it, even if the room is in total blackout, but it is enought to illuminate the frame with enough detail for monitoring. The app is logically designed and allows enough control and customisation of the device for most instance.The audio is adequate, and the image quality is perfectly acceptable, even at 720p.Adding this camera as a skill to your Alexa device means you can view the camera via your Fire TV device or Echo Show.The manufacturer offers a premium service to store content on their cloud, but as with anything made in that country of origin, you may want to give some serious consideration to what that could mean for your data privacy. If that is a concern, buy a memory card and insert it into the slot at the side of the camera.

Bought to spy on my cats when I arenât home, itâs great quality! Easy to set up and really easy to use with the app! Quality of the footage is great and I get sensory notifications if they walk past. I want it for every room and will be purchasing again! Great value for money. Night vision is also great quality. There is a slight lag when altering the view myself but itâs fine!

Great camera and cheapest on market
I have now bought three of these cameras and installed at two properties. I was so impressed with the first one that I bought the other two to replace a couple of Nest cameras I had at the other property. I control all of them from one app on my smartphone. Installation is really easy, the picture quality is very impressive and can be enlarged and panned around also very easily. I have also installed 64GB microSD cards in each of them, which provides several weeks worth of video capture. When the card is full, it simply loops round and overwrites the oldest videos with the latest ones. Videos can also be downloaded. All of this with no subscription required 🙂 One tip which is worth noting is that I have mine on daylight mode all the time. I have them installed at double glazed windows and found that night mode was hopeless due to the reflection of the low light emitted by the camera itself. Day mode at night still provides a decent amount of visibility even under very low external light conditions. The functionality and value of this camera is way better than the first generation Nest cameras that I previously had. Very satisfied. 🙂

Good value indoor cameras
I brought these cameras on one of Amazon’s ‘todays deals’ offers. The cameras were slightly cheaper as a pair than individually and I added a 64GB and a 128GB microSD memory card to the order. I am very pleased with the price I paid and I love the additional features this C210 model has over the C200s I had been using. One camera is on the ground floor of the house and the other is upstairs overlooking the garden. We have had some issues with unwanted visitors in the garden and the upstairs camera has shed some light on the matter. Turns out to be squirrels by day and badgers by night. The badgers were a nice surprise.One great feature of this camera is its intelligent detection. The older cameras would be triggered by wind and that could mask things one wanted to actually see. This camera is much more selective and I also like the way the data is presented in the app. It is certainly different and in my opinion an improvement. I am not going to immediately replace all my cameras but I will do that over time because I now prefer this C210 model.One thing to say if you have patchy wi-fi coverage is that this camera does not have SD and HD definition modes. In the C200 you get both. SD definition can be useful because it takes up less space on your storage media and also requires less wi-fi band width when transmitting to a remote device. For example, if you are dialling in from work or while you are away. However, the HD (2K) pictures from these new C210 cameras are very sharp even if the do take up a bit more space.Set up was extremely easy. I already use the app and had set up wi-fi credentials so it was all done in just a few clicks. I like these Tapo cameras very much and whether you use either of the models that I own you will not be disappointed. They have an intuitive and user friendly interface via the app, a small footprint, low power consumption and good detection by day or by night. I do not use the detection tracking on my cameras but that also works very well and keeps the action in the frame, as it were.I would recommend this duo of Tapo C210 cameras. They come with good functionality and the benefits of the wider Tapo ecosystem that can encompass smart lights, smart plugs, robo-vacs and much more. They are great value and so far have never let me down. My oldest camera is nearly 5 years old and still works perfectly. So you can say they are built to last. Overall, a safe and very useful buy.

Ich hatte schon mal die Kamara gekauft bin sehr zufrieden. Bei diesem Kauf habe leider eine englisch Adapter Version bekommen. Denn kann ich leider nicht benutzen für die deutschen Steckdosen ð.

Got this to check up on my 8 week old puppy. Works a treat and picture quality is pretty good. I can talk to my dog through the camera from miles away which is a bonus. For the money you can’t go wrong. Easy setup and use.
