Great replacement for old CM907 Thermostat
The screen on my old CM907 Timer/Thermostat failed and I found this M3 Timer/Thermostat an excellent and more functional replacement for the CM907.Very intuitive and easy to use menu system with more options than the CM907 (1 hour boost facility to name one enhancement). Although I will say the instruction sheets are more aimed at Trade or Professional Engineers / Installers than DIY fitting. But if you are familiar with programming any modern control device with a GUI interface, it is very similar to any other and actually quite easy to program.I note a lot of people complaining about the outer flap not closing properly and springing open again and having to use Blu-tack to hold it down…Don’t believe this is a issue with design of the M3 itself, more the fitting instructions not being quite clear enough of how to fit the main unit into the wall/back plate. Initially my flat did keep springing out initially after following the installation diagrams as shown, but I found out as long as you firmly clip the top of the main unit in first like a hinge and then pivot it firmly downwards, clipping the bottom in last, this should then be a tight fit and the flap then close perfectly. Well mine did after doing that.I gave the M3 unit 5 stars all round as long as you understand modern GUI programming techniques and install it correctly. But would reduce this to 4 or less stars for the included M3 installation and programming instructions which could/should be better. I believe they are not aimed squarely at DIY installers without some basic skills and knowledge.Hope it last as long and as reliable as the CM907

Good price
I bought this to replace a broken CM907 controller. It fits exactly into the same screw holes and the two wires were a doodle to connect. Programming was simple too. The programmer actually has more features than the CM907 which makes this a bargain.My only problem is the cover flap is a bit flimsy compared to the previous controller and does not click into place as easily. Other than that, Iâm satisfied with my purchase.

Electricians review 230v gripe
Honeywell is a well known and trusted brand. The thermostats functions are pretty easy to get to grips with.My big gripe with this product is the fact that it is described as 230v hard wired. Yes it is rated at 230v and is hard wired.No where in the description does it say that the clock and relay switching mechanism is battery powered, and not powered by 230v.Find this slightly mis leading as electricians we like maintenance free solutions I.E we don’t want a phone call in a years time when the batteries have failed and the heating stops working.

Smart Programmable Thermostat
Smart modern look. Easy to fit, my system just requires a two wire thermostat. Reasonable price. The instructions that come with it are not good, I had to resort to a YouTube video to set it up.

This is a good replacement thermostat for the original dial type. It has a good visual screen and the big bonus is that you can program it to turn on and off, so its not turning on at times when not needed.Just make sure you change the batteries every year.

Cercavo un cronotermostato settimanale economico e funzionale e mi sono orientato su questo su consiglio del mio elettricista.Il termostato funziona a batterie (due stilo) quindi va bene anche per chi non ha la possibilità di alimentarlo a 220V.E programmabile settimanalmente o come lo utilizzo io 5+2 in modo tale che dal lunedì al venerdì venga utilizzata una programmazione e il sabato e la domenica una diversa.La programmazione delle ore e temperatura è completamente personalizzabile dal menù.In alternativa si può utilizzare in modo manuale come un semplicissimo classico termostato.Una funzione interessante ma come comunicatomi dalla casa costruttrice non disattivabile (servizio clienti molto efficiente con operatore molto gentile e disponibile) è una sorta di “modulazione” che il termostato attiva una volta raggiunto il target di temperatura impostato,ovvero accenderà e spegnerà la caldaia 6 volte all’ora con accensioni brevi ma che fanno si che la temperatura non scenda mai sotto il valore scelto,questo fa sì che i consumi scendano parecchio.Quindi non spaventatevi se vedete la caldaia accendersi senza un apparente motivo è una cosa voluta.Come dicevo non è disattivabile ma nel menù tecnico si puo scegliere un altra cadenza di accensioni di “modulazione/mantenimento”.Il display ha la retroilluminazione che si spegne automaticamente dopo qualche secondo e si riattiva solamente nel momento in cui si toccano dei testi.PRO:â OTTIMO RAPPORTO QUALITà PREZZOâ RISPARMIO GRAZIA ALLA FUNZIONE DI MODULAZIONEâ PRESCISONE NEL RILEVARE LA TEMPERATURAâ FUNZIONA A BATTERIEâ ASSITENZA ITALIANA MOLTO EFFICENTECONTRO:âFUNZIONE DI MODULAZIONE NON DISATTIVABILE (A QUALCUNO POTREBBE NON PIACERE /NON VOLERE QUESTA FUNZIONE)CONCLUSIONE:Un ottimo prodotto rapportato al suo prezzo,nonostante non fossi abituato e all’inizio le continue accensioni mi disturbavano parecchio ho potuto constatare che il risparmio in bolletta è stato evidente.Consiglio questo prodotto!Spedizione rapidissima come sempre!
