I used this on my pure highway 600, as the original mic lead was too short, I had to shave away some of the plastic on the jack plug so that it would fit. It works a treat and sound quality is excellent.

I picked up the Pioneer 2.5mm microphone for my van and it’s been okay overall, but there are a few things that could be improved.On the positive side, the sound quality is decent for the price. It captures clear audio without too much distortion, and it works well in quieter environments. Itâs compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around and use in various setups.However, the build quality feels a little cheap, especially the connector. The 2.5mm jack can sometimes be a bit finicky, requiring a firm push to stay securely plugged in, and Iâve noticed some intermittent connection issues. The microphone also lacks any noise-canceling features, so in louder spaces, it tends to pick up background noise quite a bit, which can affect the clarity of recordings.For the price, itâs fine if you just need something simple for casual use or as a backup. But if youâre looking for something more professional or with better noise control, this might not be your best option.
