Perfect solution for me
I needed something cheap and cheerful to stay at my desk to make docking my MacBook Air quick and easy. Itâs got monitor ports, USB-C PD and plenty of USB-A and C ports to use so what more could you ask for? Love it. ð

Short cable but nice little dock on a budget
Working from home, I hated the faff of plugging/unplugging multiple cables everytime I wanted to move my laptop.This little dock works brilliantly and much cheaper than the official HP dock. No hassle setup being just plug in and play, no software/drivers needed. 2 hdmi ports handle two monitors with ease, and I use a USB-to-ethernet adapter for wired Internet via the dock. No issues with the connection speed on that either.Very versatile and capable of pass through charging if you have a usb-c charger to plug into the dock. No issues with heat although I haven’t used the pass through charging feature yet.Only complaint is that the cable from dock to laptop could/should be MUCH MUCH longer. It’s only 30cm at best so you can’t really position the dock out of the way or move the laptop too far. It has to be on your desk, with everything that’s plugged in clearly visible, leaving a bit of a cluttered look instead of just a single cable.

Excellent docking station
I wanted to connect one single pair of keyboard & mouse to my laptop and to my desktop pc.I needed this Dock as there were very few ports on my new laptop.The dock has powered USB which can charge my laptop. Has plenty of spare USB C & A ports. Has HDMI to hook up my fairly old widescreen monitor. Setup was easy. Build quality excellent. Early days, but very happy with the product. There were cheaper options available online, but I didn’t want to take risk with an electrical gadget which remains powered on 24×7, 365 days, and chose this well known UGREEN brand.

Worked for 4 days
The problem with technology is that there are so many parts from different manufacturers that can go into a system. Try adding something new, and when it fails to work is it incompatibility or simply a broken component? In my case I have a new laptop which I wanted to use with 2 4K monitors. I added this Ugreen device to attach hdmi cables. It worked magnificently for 4 days, then it stopped. No idea why, and I’m not sure where the real issue might lay. All I know is that this docking station will pass through a power supply, and a USB-a web cam. But ask it to do 2 HDMI connections and it fails. Maybe expecting a £30 unit to offer the same functions as units that cost five times as much is being naive.

Works well with my two screens (4k and 1080p), webcam, keyboard bluetooth dongle, usbc headphones, and power cable simulataneously. However the power delivery is not very high, and I wish the cable was longer. Im going to buy a separate usb c male to female to extend it

Really good value for money
The price of this is insane for what it does, similar docks that run on thunderbolt are around £200 plus and are really bulky, this one for almost 10x less is really compact and good for connectivity and port functionality, doesnât get hot at all and is really easy to install.

It’s small and light and slim and nice, but it does not seem to work properly for Macbooks. On my 2022 Macbook Pro it shows up as one screen, even though I have two screens connected, and I see no option to extend the screens.For my two Windows computers (Dell Latitude and Lenovo ThinkPad), it worked as promised with multiple extended screens supported. If not for the claim that it supports Macbooks, I would have given it five stars.

product only allows for screen mirroring on a macbook. when plugged in, the second monitor isn’t recognized separately, so there is no option for individual settings. instead, the second monitor simply mirrors the first.and to make matters worse, it distorts the colors on my AOC monitor. I wish I’d kept the box to send it back, this product is basically useless.
