Customers say
Customers find this keyboard to be a solid classic model that feels like it will last a lifetime, with large, full-height keys and lovely key caps. They appreciate its classic layout and consider it good value for money. The typing experience and noise level receive mixed feedback – while some find it really fun to type on, others report it feels clunky and mushy, and several mention it’s pretty noisy.

Superb quality for not much money! key when it gets used so much?).Anyway, this is kind of an âold-schoolâ keyboard. Iâve worked at PCs for as long as theyâve been around, so I consider such a classic layout to be a great feature. By classic, I mean itâs got separate sections, with a distinct section for âInsert/Delete/Home/Endâ. Because I use these keys without even looking, I hate keyboards where this section has been messed with. It drives me nuts when the layout has changed. Nothing worse than having to stop momentarily because youâve lost the End key. Well, thereâs no danger of that with this keyboard. Itâs that classic layout you know and love.If youâre more modern in your outlook, you might not like the keys: they are a good, traditional height, unlike many other modern keyboards (which seem to contain much lower profile keys). If youâre into mega modern, super-slimline, mac-like keyboards, then you wonât like this keyboard. This is an old-school keyboard with nice big keys, a classic layout and everything exactly where youâve got used to it being. The keyboard doesnât have any logos on its front side at all. Keyboard purists will love this. Perfection! There are no âshortcutâ keys â you know, those irritating little buttons for play, stop, volume increase, decrease, etc. Again, being rather old-fashioned, I hate these buttons; I consider their absence to be good. They make a keyboard look cluttered, fiddly and confusing. I find I never use them, making them a waste of space. But, if you do like those little extras, youâll be disappointed â there are none on this keyboard. In the description, it said something like âsound is similar to MX Brown switchesâ. I think thatâs a bit much, itâs stretching things a bit. This isnât a mechanical keyboard. Keys can sound a wee bit rattley, which Iâve never noticed with any mechanical keyboard. But you do get an okay sounding keypress. It is noisy (which I happen to like). But if you live in a monastery, this could bug your fellow monks. Donât buy this keyboard if you want a quiet keyboard. The main keys sound good â nice response, if a teeny bit ârattleây. But the space-bar is the exception: itâs annoyingly loud and produces an annoying âclackâ, which is louder and sounds completely different to the other keys. Shame about that.Build quality is very good. Nice, solid plastic, but not absurdly heavy. The finish is great. Lettering is faultless. Num/Caps/Scroll lights/labels are perfectly spaced and excellently printed â nice! Even the cable & USB plug is the best quality – much better than my Unicomp keyboard which cost more than 5 times as much. This keyboard has not been made on the cheap.Itâs even got the little notches on the F and J keys for the touch-typists amongst you! Bliss!Because of the nice key height, decent response and classic layout, I can type very quickly on this keyboard, without even having to look at the keys. You pick up quite a pace up on this sucker! For the price, itâs a lovely keyboard. Obviously itâs not a replacement for a mechanical keyboard. But it is of very decent quality for the money.
Excellent âbudgetâ (or non-mechanical) keyboard.I bought the white version of this keyboard. Itâs absolutely pristine. Itâs made with beautiful, perfectly white plastic. Itâs absolutely gleaming! Ideal for clinical settings or a beauty salon or minimalistic house. Lovely!Itâs UK layout â absolutely vital if you live in the UK! Iâm never sure why people in the UK put up with US-layout keyboards (why deprive yourself of a £ key? Why have such a small

Nice Keyboard
The keyboard works well. Responsive keys that feel sturdy that have some of the old fashioned keyboard feel. I am used to the old IBM ps/2 and Compaq server keyboard with built in mouse that I am comparing to. The Compaq I am back using now (£100.00 second hand if you can find one which is now connected to a USB keyboard and mouse adapter) is superior but this German design at a very good price is a great substitute and good back up keyboard and I think will prove pretty reliable.

Very solid experience for a budget keyboard
I’ve been using this keyboard for a couple of months now, after toying for weeks over the possibility of throwing money down the drain of fancy mechanical switch keyboards or buying one of the official model Ms. Then I saw this and fell in love with the beige and grey colour scheme, green leds, and lack of a Windows key (the version I have has a plain keycap with the wort ‘Start’ printed on it). I looks stunning frankly, sparking nostalgiic memories of 90s PCs, and has a colourscheme very similar to my old A1200. Really fun to type on, makes a satisfying thocky sound though its a membrane. The only drawbacks are:Keycaps cannot be removed (I’d love to be able to swap them out for some different colours) – this is probably a very niche complaint. The cable is ugly, its cheap white plastic and does not match the colouring of the keyboard. It is also hardwired in so cannot be removed.Other than that this keyboard is a bargain. I love it.

Awesome looking keyboard
Got this keyboard to replace the standard Dell keyboard which came with my new XPS. This appears to have 7 key rollover which for the type of gaming that I do is more than fine and beats the Dells 4 key rollover. It isn’t the quietest keyboard, noise level it is similar to a Cherry Brown switch. The typing experience is above average beating the regular cheaper membrane keyboards, but it is far from being a mechanical experience. For a modern retro look and feel, this keyboard is the best value for money and I would recommend to anyone.

So comfortable to use!
Iâve been wanting a new keyboard for a while. I like chunky keys like we had in the old days, canât seem to manage with the flat keyboards they do nowadays. This is so retro, it really takes me back to the 80s. It looks and feels like a genuine 80s keyboard. I was a bit unsure about the colour and thought I might not like it in real life, but to be honest it matches my old CRT monitor perfectly! The most important thing for me is the comfort and ease of use. I struggle with the flat keys on most modern keyboards and keep hitting 2 keys at once. This one is perfect! Cannot recommend it highly enough. No flashy lights, no singing and dancing, just good honest typing like it should be!

Not a bad keyboard but the left shift key being small gets missed a bit when typing.Overall not a bad keyboard
