The media player uses the hi-end version of the latest S928X media processor with D Vision VS10 engine. It offers outstanding picture quality, supports true 8Kp60 decoding and true 8Kp60 output, includes the new AV1 and offers overall top performance.
8K is a next-generation video format that offers four times as many pixels as 4K. The 8K format offers the most immersive viewing experience and delivers a truly smooth and sharp picture. The media player supports both 8Kp60 HDR video decoding and 8Kp60 HDR video output.
The media player supports the new AV1, which can improve video quality by up to 50% without increasing the video bitrate (or requiring up to 50% less bitrate for the same video quality).
The media player has a very powerful CPU and GPU. The CPU includes four 2.0 GHz ARM-A55 cores, one “big” 1.9 GHz ARM-A76 core (with very high performance) and an additional core for system requirements. The resulting CPU performance is up to 2x higher than the RTD1619DR. The GPU has been upgraded to Mali G57. Combined with super-fast LPDDR4X and super-fast eMMC, this results in blazing fast overall system performance. The Antutu total score exceeds 300,000 points, which is significantly more than the previous generation media players.

It takes some getting used to and for some non iptv features it still needs permanent Internet connection.

This is a rather small but heavy and well built little file player box. It can do 8k 60 and it actually feeds my Sony Z9K 8k set a great video picture that is 8k from YouTube that looks excellent. It appears to have some kind of AI or something that really makes the video coming in look very sharp and crisp and provided you set all the MANY user settings properly it will play 8k video from YouTube very smoothly. It will output at whatever resolution you choose with many of the streaming services it supports or it will use the EDID protocol from your TV or whatever video device and use that, plus many options to make it work properly with just about any device you hook to it. I had to adjust the color depth on the higher resolutions to get my TV to play them right or at all but you have the ability to do that with this machine.I was very impressed with this everything box and I’m glad I bought it not knowing exactly how it would work out for me but so far with a bit of a learning curve it’s been great.If you don’t want to take the time to tweak it to work with your setup there may be better options for you, and being pretty new not everything works perfect first try but it’s doing great for me now.There will be firmware updates as issues are fixed and features are added so keep that in mind and there’s a big community online figuring these things out and helping people that need it.It’s not super cheap but if you need what this little guy can do it’s well worth the price.

kwam van een Zidoo af, maar die werd steeds langzamer en miste heel veel titels bij het indexeren van je bibliotheek. Support heeft dat nooit opgelost, dus tijd voor een ander merk.Dit apparaat is next level, speelt razendsnel alles af, en heeft een zeer overzichtelijke posterwall.Gewoon op je poster klikken, en gaan/kijken.Netflix apps ed werken hier half op, ( lowres) omdat de focus ligt op wat je zelf hebt staan op schijf.maar verder werkt bv tivimate ed prima en razendsnel.

MagnÃfica calidad de video/audio, no se calienta y es relativamente fácil de configurar.En el menú de configuración de Android le faltan opciones, como si se las hubieran ocultado, desconozco la razón pero comparándolo con el mismo apartado de un teléfono con Android 11, como digo, faltan algunas de ellas.He tenido que instalar varios servidores FTP hasta encontrar uno que pudiese acceder a los archivos ubicados en el HDD que le he instalado el la bahÃa disponible, de los 8 que he probado, en 7 de ellos sólo se veÃan las carpetas, no los archivos.El dispositivo vale la pena si pretendes ver videos 4K en un TV de calidad, en caso contrario es muy caro. Si reproduce mediante streaming o los archivos se han comprimido con la consiguiente pérdida, no vale la pena.El sofware de organización multimedia (My Collection creo que es) no tiene demasiadas posibilidades de configuración, de ordenas los archivos según el criterio que tú desees. Eso sÃ, visualmente muy espectacular ya que descarga carátulas e información de bases de datos online. Yo no lo uso, deberÃa tener la posibilidad de mostrar únicamente el nombre del fichero y poder ordenarlo como mejor te parezca.El mando cumple su función, el cursor nada del otro mundo y no se ve demasiado robusto.El menú de pantalla podÃa ser algo más configurable, menos dependencia de Google y más elementos personalizados.A bote pronto es lo que puedo decir ya que lleva en casa pocos dÃas.

I like the fact that I could store all my movies on the hard drive in the player. But the fact that it would run Plex an had trouble setting up a server on it to access the hard drive, I did find one eventually in emby.
