This is quite possibly the most disappointing product I have ever purchased. On the surface it seems ok, you can download your apps, side load apks and pretty much stream anything. When i first received it, it came with an american two pin plug so i had to use a three pin eu one which i believe durastically slowed down the device. It has constant issues connection to bluetooth and android devices, will now only function for me if the screen resolution is on the lowest setting and it is on the wrong software version and cant update. I truly believe that it could be good but i just dont think it’s made well. You’d be better buying a cheap android tv box and save yourself the nearly £50

Xiaomi Mi TV stick Excellent little device
This is my first experience of the Xiaomi Mi devices, if I’m honest I love the Amazon streaming devices there easy to set up and the Bluetooth remote smashes other devices into the ground. I’m an inquisitive person who loves there streaming devices therfore I’m quite fussy, I own an Nvidia Shield device so the Xiaomi Mi TV stick has some high standards to compete with!! So here goes!! I love this device!! nice little remote that feels substantial in the hand Bluetooth too!! ð I installed my apps easily! So happy days there! The picture quality is spot on and it streaming effortlessly. No buffering for me!!!!Would I recommend that people buy it? The answer is YESIs it value for money? The answer is YES againWould I try other Xiaomi Mi devices most definitely!At some point I will get other device’s the play with and use.

As an Apple user I found this android stick very easy to set up, the quality of streaming is second to none.The speed of streaming is instant with unbeatable performance, quality product definitely value for money

Easy enough to set up but half way thru it says set up you local content and shows all countries apart from United Kingdom. Once on and running the WiFi set up says CONNECTED but “NO INTERNET” (VIRGIN MEDIA ONLY) you have to turn off your router to get this to disappear and for stick to actually properly connect with WiFi. The remote it’s self is a bit laggy well to be honest if you’ve got quick clicking fingers it’s very laggy to the point you have to leave the app your in and the re-enter and go much slower so it doesn’t freeze. As for video playback it is very good (no 4k) but does have its moments of complete freeze like it can’t keep up. All this will probably be fixed on next update of the stick. Also if ordering in the UK from Amazon please be aware it doesn’t even come with a UK plug and it doesn’t come with an adapter plug either ( more expense).I ordered 4 and all have had the same issues quoted above. This is an honest appraisal of this device and is now up to you if you want to buy yourself. Thanks

Smart, small, excellent
After 20 minutes of unboxing it is ready to use. (Plug in the TV, pairing remote control, login to WiFi, login to Google-Play, software update, application download, etc.)The system refreshed itself right after it is connected the internet.The typing is very easy and fast even on the remote control. The remote control is solid, clean & good grip.No UK plug in the box, but if your TV have 1A (very important to be 1A) USB port, you can plug there the power cable.Battery for remote control not included (2xAAA).Overall it is fantastic, easy to use. Worth the money. Highly recommended.
