Great Micro!
The SUDOTACK USB Streaming Podcast PC Microphone is a professional-grade microphone designed for podcasting, streaming, voiceovers, and studio recording. It offers high-quality audio with a 192KHz/24Bit sampling rate, ensuring crisp and natural sound. The microphone has a plug-and-play setup, making it easy to use without additional drivers. Its versatility makes it suitable for various applications, and the cardioid polar pattern helps isolate the voice and reduce background noise. The durable build ensures long-lasting performance, and additional accessories like a shock mount and pop filter might be included. However, it has limited connectivity as a USB microphone and might introduce some audio latency. Audio quality is subjective, so listening to sample recordings and considering user reviews is advised before making a decision. Overall, it appears to be a reliable choice for those in need of a USB microphone for professional audio purposes. One notable downside of the SUDOTACK USB Streaming Podcast PC Microphone is the absence of a physical on/off button. This can be a significant inconvenience for users who prefer a quick and straightforward way to control the microphone’s power status. Without a physical switch, you’ll need to disconnect the USB cable or adjust your computer’s audio settings to effectively turn off the microphone when not in use. This limitation might be considered a significant drawback for some users who value ease of use and quick access to microphone controls.

Good for the price, the stand had a couple of issues that were easy to fix
Nice sound quality, only issues I found were with the stand as the first joint can fill a bit loose (but I fixed it with a piece of paper around the inner stick.) and the 2 bottom springs which can click when moving (but I also fixed it with a piece of paper between the spring and the bottom holder).

Great budget mic, sounds better than even an expensive headset mic.
This mic was recommended by a couple of friends who already had it so I knew roughly what to expect. The articulating arm is pretty much what you’d expect and is similar to the types of things you see on desk lamps and tablet holders etc. It’s not an amazing bit of engineering, but it works perfectly well with the desk clamp holding nice and tight and holding the mic nicely in position once you’ve given the joints a little tighten. Only the plastic right at the end holding the mic itself feels a touch flimsy, but in fairness, is holding up perfectly fine so far. The mic is simply slotted into the plastic/elastic cradle at the end which provides some anti-vibration dampening. This fitting is quite secure and the mic isn’t going anywhere. We added some velcro ties to secure the cable to the arm at a few places along it. You can happily tuck the mic away behind the screen etc when not in use and pull it back out in front to use it. No issues there, works well. The USB mic was found instantly by Windows 10 and worked without any configuration. It sounds very clear, with a nice rounded sound, noticeably better than even a quite expensive headset and with the sponge cover, didn’t particularly need the pop filter fitted either when we tested it. These mic’s are designed to be used quite close to your mouth and the volume drops off quite quickly when you move away so bear that in mind if you’re using them with a webcam and don’t want the mic in shot the whole time. You will want to be talking INTO this mic.Overall a great mic and arm for the budding game streamer or amateur youtuber. Wait until you can get it for around £40 (often) and its a great deal.

Great Mic, but wasn’t working out of the box…
Before I begin – TLDR: The negative contact from the mic to the soundchip wasn’t even soldered on. The contact was loose fresh out of the box (like it wasn’t even attempted to have been sodlered on) – it was quickly fixed with a dab of a soldering iron, and now works brilliantly.so – the rest of the story. This is the first high quality mic of it’s kind that I have bought – I have used regular headset mics for years, but they always sounded tinny, or really quiet when recording gaming footage. I have to say, i’m super happy with it, but when i opened the box, and it installed itself – it unfortunatley wasn’t working. after maybe an hour of unplugging, re-installing, software checking and fault finding, everything told me that the mic was installed properly and was working correctly. All of the recording software however, was asking me “have you muted your mic?” – I was like, but it has not buttons on it? how can it be muted? After numerous attempts to re-install it, i decided to plug it into a laptop – Low and behold, exactly the same issue. So i figured it isn’t the software, it has to be the hardware. I disconnected the mic and after a moment of wondering how to get into it, figured out that the bottom easily screws off, and the sleeve came of easily afterwards – and that’s when i glaring spotted that the black wire from the mic wasn’t even soldered on!!Quick dab with a hot soldering iron, and instantly working. no problem! sounds amazing on streams and i even use it for voice comms and people have commented how amazing it sounds, BUT – buyer beware, mine came faulty out of the packaging, which isn’t something you would expect – but a little past expertise of electrical equipment saved me the whole hassle of having to return it as a faulty item. I would reccomend that they improve thier quality testing of thier products before shipping them!I still reccomend this mic despite the negative experience, and i know a freind has bought one based on how I sound while using it!Update: Added a small video for sound quality purposes

The sound quality is excellent. However, it’s very important to have a proper recording space â otherwise, there’s a lot of echo, which I’m currently struggling with.I also wish the armband were a bit longer.Definitely worth the price â 100%!
