Reliable and simple to use
Tried these on several indoor and outdoor recordings and didnât run into a single connection drop. Sound stayed clean even with background chatter or wind. The signal held up well even when I moved around a fair bit. Battery level is visible at all times, which made planning longer shoots much easier. Being able to charge while using saved me once during a longer day. Had no trouble with setupâtook seconds from plugging in to recording. Used them with two different devices and they both handled it fine without needing to mess with anything. Build feels solid enough to take regular use, and the clips are firm without being annoying. Swapping between audio modes worked quickly when needed, and muting was instant. For everyday use and even semi-professional jobs, theyâve proven dependable and consistent. Exactly what I needed to avoid audio mishaps during recording.

Handy and functional
I tested these with both my iPhone 14 and my MacBook Pro (Intel processor). They connected quickly and easily and sound recording was of an acceptable quality. The magnetic connection between the lapel clips and the microphones themselves is pretty strong but it does mean you’ve got to keep track of four pieces of kit rather than two.I found the furry wind breaks far too easy to remove and far too difficult to get back on again. The foam covers are light and need to be protected from anything but the lightest breeze or they risk blowing away. The double charging cable is a good idea and charging of both mics was fast and effective. The charge level display on the mics is great although it would be very visible if you were filming as it faces outwards. The Lightning adapter for the receiver seems a little bit loose on my iPhone, but not enough to be a serious concern. They don’t come with a case as such – if you want to keep them neatly stored you’ll have to keep the original packaging.Generally speaking I’m happy with them.

Great budget friendly microphones
I recently purchased the Wireless Microphone with Digital Battery Display â 2-Pack USB-C Mini Mic, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my content creation. As someone who frequently records videos and podcasts, this microphone system has truly elevated the quality of my recordings. The price point is incredibly reasonable for the performance it delivers. For under £30, you get two high-quality microphones, a receiver, charging cables, and a convenient storage bag. It’s a complete package that doesn’t break the bank. The audio quality is exceptional. Equipped with professional-grade intelligent noise reduction chips and advanced 2.4 GHz transmission technology, these microphones effectively identify the original sound and provide clear recordings, even in noisy environments. Whether I’m recording interviews, vlogs, or live streams, the audio comes through crisp and professional. One of the standout features is the rotating magnetic clips. They allow for easy attachment to clothing, and the magnets ensure the mics stay securely in place. This design is particularly useful for dynamic shoots where positioning may change frequently. The microphones also feature a digital battery display, which is a thoughtful addition. It provides real-time battery status, so I never have to worry about unexpected power loss during recordings.Setup is a breeze. There’s no need for Bluetooth pairing or complicated apps. Simply plug the receiver into your device, power on the microphones, and you’re ready to record. The microphones are lightweight and compact, making them easy to carry in a pocket or bag. Despite their small size, they deliver big on performance. For creators seeking a reliable, high-quality wireless microphone system without breaking the bank, this set is an excellent choice. It combines affordability with professional-grade features, making it suitable for a wide range of recording needs. If you’re in the market for a versatile and budget-friendly microphone solution, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Works fine
The mikes and kit come in a really neat package, very well protected with foam padding. You get two mini microphones, which come already fitted with sponge heads and windproof fur. You get a receiver, two magnetic clips, a lightning adapter, type C charging cable and a user manual. I have not tried to connect the mikes to a tablet yet, but have tried them with both an iPhone and a Motorola smartphone. The user manual is in multiple languages, as usual. The English instructions are very clear, and I was able to connect the microphones to both of the phones in a matter of seconds. The controls are very easy to use and to remember.I tried the mikes at various distances from the receiver, and they seem to have a pretty reasonable range; I’d say you get a good clear pickup up to six feet away. The sound quality isn’t outstanding, but it is better than average. You should be okay using these mikes for vlogging or podcasting on the go. The noise reduction and reverb functions are easy to use and you can tell the difference in the sound when you use them. The charging cable fit perfectly into my power tower USB slots and the mike seems to charge quite quickly. I admit, I have no idea what the lightning adaptor does so I haven’t tested that. The magnetic clips are neat, hold well, and attach to clothing without damaging it. Overall, this is a neat, functional set and very user-friendly.

These lavalier microphones came in attractive packaging, suitable for a gift. They came with a ‘Y’ charging cable split into two USB Type-C ends, so you can charge both mics with a single cable, which is very handy. However, there is no charging block, so you need to use your own charger or a device. The receiver has a Type-C plug, so if you want to use this on an Iphone, you have to use the included Lightning adapter that comes with the kit. I don’t have an Iphone to try it on but with the adapter, I think the receiver would stick out quite a bit more than on an Android. The adapter is well built though, so it’s not an issue when doing podcasts or social media v-logging and your phone is mounted. But you would probably want to take it easy if you were carrying or handling your Iphone with the receiver and adapter attached. The digital display is bright and easy to read, showing three indicator lights and the charge amount. Just short-press the power button to bring the charge display back up. Pressing the ‘M’ button once turns off the noise cancelling and double pressing ‘M’ mutes the mic. Both have indicators on the front. There are two sync lights on the receiver and one on each mic, and they turn solid on when the mic is connected. It makes it easy to instantly tell if you lost a mic or the person wearing it has wandered out of range. I tested the distance out to apx. 40 feet inside my home, with 4 walls in between me and my phone and the quality was still clear and sharp. When I first unboxed this set, I was amazed at how easy it was to use these! I’m not much of an Android guy and I thought I would have to install an App or do something to turn them on, but you literally just plug the receiver into your Android phone and then when you turn a mic on, the connection indicator stops blinking and goes solid, and you are good to go! That simple. I don’t have an Iphone though, so I can’t speak to how easy it is for them. Finally, the charging is fast. Both mics were about 80% charge when I unboxed them and they charged to 100% in less than 10 minutes.

Easy, instant pairing out of the box. Small, but not the tiniest of tiny. Great for a wireless mic.I like that there are fur wind filters included, great for outdoors. Both C and lightning connections are appreciated when switching between devices or loaning to a friend or coworker.Noise cancellation and reverb options are also included.I do wish that there was a better case as the box will get properly beaten up when packing and unloading/loading regularly. For the price though this is reasonable. The box has foam cutouts which house all of the components safely. The plastic build feels a little cheap, but again, durable enough for the price.Charging cord is included.Sound quality is very good, although I’m not an audiophile.Well kitted and well priced for the features and functions.
