Orange is 2.5GB connection. Both worked fine. 3rd 1GB is Internet
Working exactly as described. My 2 x 2.5GB devices worked immediately and file transfers at constant 283MB a second. For the price thatâs excellent !!

Simple plug and play
I needed a 2.6Gig router for my home office where I wanted to plug in multiple laptops and not rely upon wi fi. This fit the bill at a good price. Happy with it. Works fine.

KeepLink KP-9000-6XHML-X2 4x 2.5Gbe RJ45 ports 2x 10Gbe SFP+ ports
So far working well, only real let down is the management software is not pretty has most settings though. For the price itâs good I bought 3 plus another manufacturer equivalent to form a 10Gbe backbone on my network and so far it working.

A tidy little 2.5Gb desktop switch
I bought the 5 port version, after I bought the NiPoGi AMD Ryzen Mini PC, with both 1Gb & 2.5Gb interfaces. I wanted to take advantage of the faster networking. I needed 5 connections, 1 each for my 2 desktop PCs, 1 for the NiPoGi, 1 for my laptop dock and 1 to connect to the rest of my network. When I replaced the 1Gb switch I discovered that my 2 desktop PCs also had 2.5Gb networking! The only slow device was my 2023 MacBook Air’s dock which only supports 1Gb. I was using CAT 5E cabling throughout with no issues. As a test I bought a twin pack of QSFPTEK 10GBASE-T SFP+ to RJ45 modules (currently £72) to just see. They connected at 10Gb from the SFP+ port on this switch, to another (different make and much more expensive) switch. I later swapped the 2 patch leads in the chain for CAT 6, but the wires in the walls are CAT 5E! I realise that this configuration is out of specification, so I’m lucky it works. I now have a spare 2.5Gb port available 🙂

works just as required
I have this connected to my Virginmedia HUB 5, through the 2.5Gb LAN port (port doesn’t work on my unmanaged 2.5Gb switch), then have connected the unmanaged switch to this with a 10G SFP+ DAC and everything is working perfectly.

Poor experience – certainly not enterprise (as labelled)
Sure they’re cheap, nothing else out there offering 2.5GB connectivity for the price except other China switches. I purchased two for home use and yes, I work in IT, these were for a speed boost and virtualization lab usage. One switch didn’t power up properly (flashing LED’s), back in the box.The other did start, connected to Web interface (need to change language every time), set new admin password and it refused to log me in. Reset the switch and logged in with defaults. Tried to change IP from the default which also failed. Also, as soon as you pull the power to these switches, they loose all config changes so there’s evidently no redundancy memory installed. I tried locating support or a website perhaps for firmware updates and there’s nothing. AI suggested NICGIGA as perhaps rebranded who have a website and firmware but left it well alone. Both switches returned. Look if you’re simply using as a base switch for up to 2.5GB speeds they would be fine, nothing changed (even the default credentials), use their IP but hardly any point if at power loss or reconnect there’s no saved config. Maybe if they offered a support site with updates that would be something. Could have been two faulty switches, perhaps. All the best.
