Is not suitable for what I searched
This item comes up in a search for “alexa dot power cable”. Be aware, it does not fit and is wrong for the searched item! Whether this is due to an amazon error or false info from seller it is still incorrect for what I wanted.

The PSU of one of my exterior Xmas lights literally exploded in the waterproof outside extension box. I was able to remove the connector and attach it to the green adaptor. The lights now work fine, the power rating is higher, and I have two spares for when this one explodes!Edit – 27 Feb 2025. Plugged a different one in and it exploded with a loud bang and blew the casing apart, as well as tripping/blowing the plug fuse on the extension strip and the ring main fuse (at least that rendered it safe to remove from the socket!) Reduced the rating to three stars, and I’ll be taking a lot of care with the remaining two.
