HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL GRADE GROUNDED TURNTABLE CABLE
The perfect addition to both Vintage and Contemporary Vinyl Players.
This grounded Turntable cable will eliminate the feedback humming that is produced by your amplifier when the incorrect cable is used.
The modern technology applied to this cable will ensure that your amplifier only receives the audio signals that your stylus produces.
While the earth wire eliminates feedback humming the Fully Screened and Shielded OFC conductors will ensure that no audio details are lost, or interference introduced during transmission.
Designed and manufactured in the USA using only High Quality materials, this item brings together the best in modern cable design and quality production without the hefty price tags.
CONNECT A TURNTABLE TO AN AMPLIFIER – These Premium Quality, Fully Screened Audio cables were specifically designed for connecting Record Deck Players to the Female Left and Right (L+R) RCA inputs found on Professional or Household Hi-Fi systems. Intended for Internal or External wiring at the turntable side and standard RCA Phono connections with a GND post or earth screw on your Amplifier. The fork connector can be earthed under any nearby screw on your amplifier or Ground Post screw
FOR VINTAGE OR CONTEMPORARY DECKS – There are many old and new LP players that are unfortunately let down by the quality of the interconnecting cable supplied or used during manufacture. Cheap cables were used or supplied in order to keep cost down or simply because of the limits of technology at the time some Decks were produced. Some of these cables are soldered internally and some of the replaceable ones were even supplied without a grounding wire for the ground post on your amplifier
SUITABLE FOR MOST POPULAR BRANDS – Using the correct cable may improve the performance of many players manufactured by Linn Products, Acoustic Research, Thorens, Technics, Garrard, Sansui, Rega, Dual, Kenwood, Marantz, Audio Technica, Denon and Pro-Ject. Although many of these belt driven or direct drive players were excellent the cable technology of the time did not live up to high standards. Such cables compromise the audio signal quality produced by the tonearm and received by the amplifier
FOR INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL UPGRADES – On offer here is a High Quality range of modern Gold Plated upgrade cables specifically designed for turntable phono use. These are available in the most popular lengths and are suitable as simple replacement leads or chords that require internal soldering or clamping. Incorrect cable types are often the weakest link in many Hi-Fi systems regardless of how much they originally cost. Unfortunately many manufacturers today still compromise on accessory quality
DESIGNED & MANUFACTURED IN THE USA – These cables benefit from many years of research and development in the transmission of audio signals. By applying the advances in technology it is now possible to produce a reasonably priced 99.99% Oxygen Free Copper cable that has effective Double Screening and Conductor Shielding. These features help to eliminate or reject RF and EMI interference from external sources, thereby allowing your Amp to receive a pure audio signal from the original source

Customers say

Customers praise the cable’s sturdy construction, with one noting its well-shielded interior, and find it well-priced. The sound quality receives mixed feedback – while some report fantastic sound, others mention loud hum issues. The ground wire length is a significant concern, with multiple customers noting that the earth wire is too short.

    Good for the money
Well, you can’t go far wrong at this price! That said, as others have pointed out, the earth cable should have been made a few centimetres longer than the phono cables so as not to put a strain on the connectors. Simple solution – I lopped off the moulded phono connectors, shortened the phone leads, leaving the earth connector intact and soldered on some (slightly) superior connectors. Job done!

Hum? It’s buzzed off never to return.
My Pro-Ject Elemental developed a very pronounced hum which got louder the higher I increased the volume on my Audiolab 8000a amp. At first I thought that it must be my amp as they’re prone to the phono connections on the back deteriorating and eventually breaking up because of their age.I, after some trial and error, began to suspect that the Pro-Ject turntable lead was the culprit so I ended up buying this red/white+ earth moulded phono lead with bare wires at the other end to replace the original lead.I removed the captive original cable (take pictures with a mobile for positions of the new cable) and after preparing the new cable I managed to solder it in to the circuit board below the arm, I took my time as I’m a complete novice at soldering, once I was satisfied that I’d done the best connection I could I then installed my Elemental back into my hi-fi.When I turned it on I expected to hear it hum as previously but heard nothing, even when I cranked the volume knob up there was no noise as before. So I put Robin Trower’s LP ‘Bridge of Sighs’ on the deck (as I’m very familiar with the record), slowly lowered the cartridge onto the vinyl and heard just a few pops as the needle tracked the grooves before the music flooded in and…. it was a revelation!, not only was there a complete absence of hum but the LP sounded about the best I’d ever heard it on my Pro-ject record player! This 1.5m cable cost me around a tenner to buy and a couple of hours to prepare, solder and then to be able to re-use my turntable, which had been out of action for a good couple of weeks. If I can take on a task like this and be successful then anyone can and I’d encourage anybody with a similar problem with their turntable to get a cable like this and give it a go but be patient, take your time and like me you’ll wonder why you didn’t attempt this fix a lot sooner. I’d recommend this cable because it has fixed my turntable’s earthing problem permanently and I think that it’s an absolute bargain.

For Technics SL 1200 / 1210’s look else were
The cable is about twice as thick as an original Technics phono lead, and very stiff. This means it won’t fit in the cable strain relief and also makes it harder to solder onto the PCB. The earth wire is in the middle of both the cables and the are all glued together, so you have to pull them apart to make them go where they need to go on the PCB. They work, but I will be looking for a more suitable cable for my needs, again a Technics SL 1200 / 1210 mk2. Worryingly though the White Phono connecter is on the Red wire and the Red phono connector is on the White wire, so no points for QC at manufacturer. It would have been annoying to me to not have noticed and have the left a right channels the wrong way round, a small thing but annoying.
