Stay clear.
Do not buy!Firstly, it takes ages to connect, and once you find a sweet spot for it to work. It controls the phone and pauses and starts the song playing again and again, and eventually disconnects.Secondly, forget even trying to use both ports at the same time as it does not work. You have to use them separately, which defeats the idea of this product.

A cure for your Apple problem
Very useful item to connect newer iPhones and pads to older audio equipment. I do love Apple but they are annoying in losing access to wider devices and pushing more expensive solutions (like AirPods) so this is a much better solution to allow you to continue to use wired devices.

Repeating static sound every few seconds
When charging and using earphones at the same time, it has repeating static sound every few seconds. Higher impedence earphones/headphones might fix this but have not tested it.

They are not working properly
The two items are all not working properly. The mobile can not charge when the charge cable connect to a computer. The headphone control functions (eg. volume control, stop play, etc. ) are not working when connect them to a iPhone headphone. I have to refund it.

Erratic function and short lifespan
I ordered half a dozen of these in September 2024. The connection is super unreliable and keeps cutting out, for example when someone nearby receives a text message – at which point the audio defaults back to phone speakers. Highly irritating. Sometimes I can increase the chances of a reliable audio connection by turning the wifi and bluetooth off on my phone, but not always. Three of the items I ordered have now completely given up the ghost and the audio connection doesnât work at all.Rather than reordering here, I bought on G*arG**k and received something that looks near identical but which works perfectly first time. In the sale it was cheaper than I paid here.
