Weâve used these since our daughter (now 22) was probably 3-4 years old. Sheâs always had allot of medical issues and theyâve helped her with headaches but also when sheâs overheat. We left in teachers desks, nurses office, bus driver had them. As an adult she still finds they help. Weâve also used when shopping when sheâd get overheated.

Yes, initially it is cold but does NOT stay cold or cool unless you peel it off and wave it in the air to get cold again. Not sure how others claim to spend the day at Disney or outdoors and get any kind of relief from this. I put it on the back of my neck during a 15 min drive with AC on and the coolness didn’t last but literally a few minutes. My body eventually warmed it up. I then waved it in the air to cool again and placed it on my wrist. Again, initial placement was cool but didn’t last.Also, other reviews mentioned that it doesn’t stick. I don’t think it was ever meant to. It’s just a strip with gel. It’s really meant to place on your forehead and lay down… not move about or think it’ll stick and stay.I’m returning it as I feel that a wet washcloth or those towels meant to keep you cool is WAY MORE effective especially outside. Just not worth having and actually paying to use as I thought I could.
