I tried this with my tall Echo, the covered 2nd edition version. The plug was a tight fit and the Echo worked straight away. Left running for 2 hours with no problems.

I bought my Amazon Echo in the USA before they were available in England and of course it came with an American plug on its USB charger. This adapter has the UK’s 13 amp plug so is much less clunky. Having it is a luxury rather than a necessity but Alexa seems happy with it too, so five stars.
