Good quality but won’t work on TCL 50P725
Good quality TRRS cable but for some TCL televisions like the 50P725 this lead is wired incorrectly. It’s not an issue with the lead itself, but the TV manufacturer using a custom pin-out for the TRRS cable socket.The cable you’ll need for a TCL 50P725 is wired (from the plug tip section downwards) R, L, GND, Video.This cable has video at the tip and GND at the base so it’s not even a case of just switching the cables around in the different coloured sockets because GND is where the TV is expecting the video signal.This cable was just £4 and the alternative was £12 so I just disassembled the cable and re-wired it myself and it works perfectly fine. It’s fiddly so not a job for everyone and in that instance look for a cable as described above for this particular TV set.Hope this helps someone!

When connected it only provided a weak signal or lost connection that would not allow the wii to work. It looked well made but if it does not achieve its purpose what is the point.

De verkoper geeft aan dat het met sony tv’s werkt, maar dat klopt niet!Na contact op te nemen hebben ze mij verteld dat op pin 3 de aarde zit waardoor het met sony TV’s zou werken, maar het blijkt niet te kloppen, de aarde zit op pin 4 (dus werkt alleen voor samsung e.d.)Erg jammer dat de verkoper incorrecte informatie stuurt.
