Perfect fit, have now restored two tripods which without tops were useless

Ideal additional quick release for my tripod – I have three camera bodies and use these on each body to rapidly switch between cameras when on a shoot. They are nice and easy to switch although I needed the 43mm version not the 44mm for my tripod – the Hama tripod claimed to be 44 but the mounts were 1mm too large

Check you size
Be sure of your measurements when ordering this was just about 3mm to big and therefore unsuitable, however they are a high grade plastic and well made

Taller than standard – fixable
I found these to be too “tall” at the base as the diagonal terminates too late and has a sheer face that impede interchange. Easily fixed by removing about 5mm of plastic at the bottom. Plastic is soft enough to cut with snippers or sharp utility knife. Still worth it ð

Disappointed. The plate is just too big for both my Velbon and Jessop tripods. I have filed/sanded it smaller but it is still too big, wished I’d bought something better quality.
