Useful and easy to apply
We have all been told that plenty of websites (including this one, perhaps) take videos and photos of us without our permission. Who knows what they use them for?! I used to just put a sticky note over my macbook camera… when I remembered to do so. But sticky notes looked silly, blocked part of of my search bar and would fall off after a few days.These four privacy covers come in a small ziplock bag (I’ve attached a photo of it next to a biro to give you a sense of size) which I appreciate because they would be easy to lose; they are small and look nondescript. However, they are actually rather excellent. They have a strong adhesive on the back (so be sure to position them correctly on first use) and they are far more discreet than a big yellow sticky note. The slide function works well: shifts smoothly. Honestly, I wish I had ordered these, years ago.The current price is 4 for £2.99. At 75 pence each, they provide a valuable service for a modest cost. I plan to affix all 4 onto every family laptop and ipad.

Just like any other webcam cover.I just like these a bit better than others because the bigger opening makes it easier to center the webcam and still see the activity light.

Pretty Good Privacy
These privacy covers for laptop cameras come in about 75 pence each here in the UK. I’m pretty impressed and the one I have on my laptop is still stuck on after 4 weeks. You just peel off the backing and carefully place so the hole is over the camera and not obscuring the view. However, you do have to be a little careful if you carry your laptop around as I found that vibration from moving the laptop in commutes can make the cover slide open – so always check to make sure the camera is covered up each time you open the lid. You might want to try shopping around in case you can find similar products at a lower price – but anyway I can vouch that the ones I obtained were of overall good quality.

Slim, sleek, and now I feel way less paranoid
These are one of those small things that just offer big peace of mind. Iâve always had that little niggling worry about webcams, and this pack sorted all my devices. Theyâre super slim, so they donât interfere with closing the lid on laptops, and installationâs easy as long as you line it up right. Once itâs on, itâs tidy and discreetâand when you slide it over, boomâinstant privacy.

Better value found elsewhere
Oveeall these webcam covers are goid quality. However there’s not much that can be qrong with thun buts of plastic. The problem is price where you only get four covers for £2.99. You can get similar priducts with same qualities for a fraction of the price.
