Only the top port implements PPS correctly.
There’s something weird going on with this product, which I can’t quite put my finger on. The PPS seems a bit fickle. When using the two 100w ports, only the top port behaves as expected. What I’m trying to achieve is to plug my S24 in and superfast charge it along with another device that draws up to 90W on 3 30W ports and my laptop (an HP elite book). The elite book’s charger is 46W, and my Laptop charges quite happily on the 65W port so I’ve plugged it in there. The device which draws up to 90W, charges as expected when it’s plugged in on its own or into the top port, as does my phone. However, when I plug my phone and the other device in, only the top port works as expected (my laptop is unplugged at this point, though the behaviour doesn’t seem to change when added), and the other seems to only work on PD, not PPS. So it seems that only the 100W ports have PPS and only the top port when both are in use. I don’t remember reading the description.For those of you who don’t know what PD and PPS are, as I was before starting to try Superfast charge my phone. PD is the charger’s ability to negotiate a charging speed at the start of the charge, and PPS the ability for it to negotiate during the charging cycle. Something like the S24 uses PPS and won’t activate Superfast Charging if it’s not present, but can fast charge using PD only. I assume this device can only use PPS on one port at a time, and if the top port requires PPS it’ll not allow it elsewhere. It also seems to restart the power to the device on the second port when the top port needs PPS. I assume this is the PD negotiation happening again.All that said, I’m keeping the charger, knowing how to navigate the PPS issue makes it (for the price) a good option. I only wish the manufacturer (or seller) would explain this.

Power is sufficient to charge my laptop and other devices at the same time, great for charging multiple things at once, you can tell the unit is live with power as it has blue light at the top. It looks very professional and is my now new desk-charging experience

Good charger
This charging station is smaller than I expected, making it easy to place and carry around. The two 100W USB-C ports provide high-speed charging for laptops, while the three 65W USB-C ports and three 18W USB-A ports offer sufficient charging options for a typical householdâs smartphones, tablets, and accessories. The charging performance is quite good, but I did notice that it heats up noticeably when charging multiple devices at the same time. In terms of design, I feel that the placement of the power cable port is not very ideal. When using the charger in an upright position, having the power cable port in the middle looks a bit awkward and affects stability. I think it would be more reasonable to position it at the lower part instead. At £49.99, the price is quite standard, and after applying the discount voucher, it becomes comparable to other similar products.

Very handy to have around the house
In this day and age, with the amount of items that need charging via USB, a multi-charger is a must-have in any home. This multi-charger has 5 USB-C ports (3 fast charging) and 3 USB-A ports, so it can handle charging 8 devices at once. The fast-charging USB-C port was really fast at charging my phone. I found that the charger did get a bit warm when charging more than 3 items at once. It does come with a handy little stand to keep it upright when charging. It’s very handy to have around the house, but I think it’s a bit expensive at £49.99.

Fast charging but has some drawbacks.
Small charger that sits comfortable on the desk and actually looks smaller in person that in did in the pics. I managed to get 90+ Watts from one port charging my power bank and but when I plugged my phone into another port it slowed right down to 27w and taking out the phone it went back up to 90 + watts.I put the power bank into port 1 (100w) and my phone into port 2 (100w) and managed to get 62w from port 1 with the phone connected but when disconnected it will do the usual 90+ watts. This is not what I expected and it even has the same behaviour when I’ve used the 65w ports.The charging station got hot very quickly while outputting these wattages. I also had issues with the USB A ports charging my phone but it would charge my wireless mouse, possible QC configuration error, not sure!

For more powerful USB devices, the unit includes 3x USB-C ports capable of supplying up to 65W, and 2x 100W USB-C ports.I like that this compact unit has a standard kettle lead power connector rather than a bulky power adapter. The casing has a smart black finish, although I would have preferred it to be plain rather than having large text printed on the side.
