Wall scanner
I bought for a small project in my bedroom.I am not professional but it worked for me.I hanged a tv stand and couple of other frames in the room and this scanner helped me to check that nothing in the wall before to drill.I took time to understand how it worked then was easy to use.It detected the stud and wire in the wall exactly right point.Device has a decent size and decent look.its a good buy.

Useful and easy to use
This stud finder works really well and is simple to use, even if youâre not great with DIY. The screen is clear and the beeping helps you find exactly where the studs or wires are. It feels solid and does the job nicely. Only reason for 4 stars is that it can take a bit of practice to get the most accurate readings, but overall itâs a really handy tool to have around.

This Stud Finder Made My DIY Projects So Much Easier!
I’m not a professional, just a homeowner who likes to put up shelves and TVs without guessing. This 5-in-1 wall scanner has been a lifesaver! The LCD screen is clear and the beeping sound makes it foolproof to find studs accurately. I feel much more confident knowing I’m not about to drill into a wire or pipe. Great value for money.It’s very easy to use and very accurate too.I used it to plan where to put the brackets for a staircase handrail. It pinpointed exactly where the wooden strips were behind the plasterboard to ensure that the screws held the handrail firmly in place.I would highly recommend it ð

Useless device that thinks my joists are a foot wide and my entire wall with NO electrics is live.
If I could give this zero stars I would.On a wall with NO electricity it gives constant indication that there is live wire, wherever it is on the wall. (See video). I have tried to recalibrate both off and on the wall – same result.Checking a light switch to see if the wire feeds from above or below, apparently the wire is coming in from every direction!Wooden studs is no better, showing a foot wide wooden joist where there is at most 2″.I can’t comment on anything else.This isn’t even any use as a doorstop – I will see what the returns policy is.

A very useful multi-function wall scanner. It does a good job of detecting different materials like studs and AC wires. The screen is clear and helps with basic DIY tasks. A solid tool.
