Review for – Acer Nitro XZ342CUPbmiiphfx 34-inch Gaming Monitor – VA Panel, 3440 x 1440, 5ms, 165HzI thought for the price it would be just ok, but it actually blew me away with the quality of the screen. I’ve had an Iiyama 70hz screen for about 5 yrs and an AOC g-sync monitor that i sold to get this which way no way as good.The picture quality is great, has lots of variation in controls, gamma, black level, blue levels, image sharpen and many others. So fine tuning to your own needs is top notch. Colour is vibrant in just normal mode. The stand is very sturdy albeit mine leans to the left a few degrees.Having the Freesync Premium with an AMD card (mines a 7800XT) really is awesome. Apex at 120hz completely tear free is so nice. Going from a normal 27″ to a 3440 x 1440 wide screen is so cool for gaming, makes a massive difference. I’m playing through Borderlands 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition and they are gorgeous on this monitor.You may get ‘very’ unlucky with dead pixels or back light bleed, but don’t be put off by the price, this monitor is damn good for gaming, highly recommend it.

Not working out of the box
Unpacked and connected the power. Pushed the power button and the screen comes on but stays blank.Plug in HDMI to my laptop and windows thinks a 2nd screen is present but it starts totally blank.Absolute rip off and have asked for an immediate refund. Will buy a Phillips monitor that a work colleague has and has had zero issues with

Terrible packaging. I received in in a box that could not fit through the door. The item itself was decent 7/10. I could not get used to the curvature and large size. I was curious to try it.
