Almost Perfect – Infinite Scroll Wheel is Amazing
I really like this mouse but it is definitely not perfect. It’s best feature is it’s infinite scroll wheel, which activates automatically when you flick it. This is a somewhat rare feature usually only featured on more expensive mice, and Acer’s implementation of it works very well here. It is genuinely useful if you often view large files or spreadsheets, and so satisfying to use, to the point where I don’t want to use a mouse without it now.The main buttons are decently quiet but don’t feel very nice to use. They don’t have much travel and feel inconsistent, sometimes making more noise than others, and you have to have your finger in just the right place for them to feel clicky at all. Also the middle mouse button is way louder than the main buttons. The back/forward buttons on the side are not positioned very well (due to the screen), and are a bit too hard to press, but work ok when you get used to them. The extra two mouse buttons are interesting, they don’t get in the way if you don’t want to use them but I have enjoyed using the left one for copying and the right for pasting. The extra circular side button can be nice to quickly go to the desktop as well. The other major quirk of this mouse is obviously the OLED screen. It shows the battery level, DPI, and connectivity mode when in use which can be useful but not exactly necessary over the standard LEDs which most mice use. However, it is definitely not a gimmick, as it allows the mouse’s buttons to be reporgrammed on the fly, without installing any software on your PC! I think this is a great feature and a nice shift away from companies wanting you to install their bloated app and make an account etc. just to use all the features of your mouse. You can configure any of the 5 extra buttons to perform a range of functions such as media control (play/pause, volume), copy/paste, open calculator/explorer, show desktop etc. Many people won’t care about these extra buttons/shortcuts, but for those who do this mouse is great, especially if you also use it on multiple PCs which you don’t want to have to install extra software on.The mouse itself feels ergonomic and would probably be better suited to larger hands. It is pretty heavy (140g) but not ridiculously so. The rubberized material on the thumb rest is nice and soft, and the rest of the plastic feels decent quality but not amazing. I would prefer if it didn’t have the glossy plastic around the edges. As far as connectivity goes it is nice that they offer you USB C and A dongles, both of which can be stored in the mouse, since so many laptops have ditched USB A ports entirely now. Bluetooth connectivity is dissapointing though, since it can only be paired to one device at a time. Many many cheaper mice, even Acer ones, can be paired to at least 2 devices at a time and switch between them, so it doesn’t really make sense that this somewhat more premium mouse can’t. At least Bluetooth support it is there though, and it can work completely in wired mode as well which some other similar mice can’t. The provided USB C cable is a very premium feeling light braided cable like the ones often found on high-end gaming mice, which is a nice touch if you plan to use it in wired mode. Can’t comment on battery life yet but I like that it is USB C rechargable and that the battery percentage is easily readable from the screen.Ultimately I think it is a good price (£41 after £5 voucher) for a quality quirky mouse, with a nice scroll wheel mechanism which is hard to find on other mice, and you may like the addition of the screen if you are a bit of a nerd.

Comfortable, Multi-Device Control with a Smart OLED Display
I’ve been using this Acer mouse for a while now, and it has quickly become a essential part of my desk setup. It is a lovely ergonomic mouse that is incredibly comfortable to use, even during long workdays. The “handshake” grip style really helps reduce wrist strain compared to standard flat mice. One of the best features is its versatility. It can be used wirelessly (via Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz dongle) or wired with the included USB-C cable. This is perfect because you can connect it to up to four devices and switch between them instantly. Plus, since it can be recharged, I’ve finally said goodbye to the hassle of needing constant AA batteries; a quick top-up via USB-C keeps it going for weeks. The small OLED screen on the top is a genius addition—it lets you see your battery level and current DPI setting at a glance, so you’re never caught off guard by a dead battery. I also found that the buttons can be programmed to suit my workflow, allowing for quick app changes and shortcuts that save me a lot of time.

    Decent
The mouse connected straight away without issue, and has had no issues in maintaining its Bluetooth connection. It has proved to be responsive whilst in use, however sometimes does take a few seconds to wake up after no activity for a little while. The ability to customise button inputs is a great feature to make for easier navigation and control. The mouse also holds its battery for an impressive length of time, multiple weeks of use between charges. The physical design is also very good, allowing for comfort without sacrificing efficiency. The digital screen is also a nice addition, while its function beyond utilizing it for custom button programming, is mostly aesthetic, it does at least provide you with your battery remaining. All in all, its a great mouse that would serve the average user excellently. Qute reasonably priced I feel, the build quality seems quite long-wearing also – so should last some time!

Some excellent attributes overshadowed by missing software
I made the switch to this mouse last week, coming from a very small gaming mouse, so the whole experience from the weight, dimensions, and buttons is significantly different, but I’m happy to say I’ve settled in quite well with this mouse and will be permanently swapping to it.Immediate positives were the dual dongles for regular USB and USB-C, so no adapters needed, and this means support for desktops, laptops, and mobile handsets. What’s really fantastic about this mouse is the 2.4GHz connectivity, which has helped with some lag I would often get when using proprietary or Bluetooth connectivity with other devices. In fact that exact issue is happening occasionally with the keyboard I’m typing on, but the mouse is not affected. The dimensions of this mouse being noticeably larger than my previous mouse took a bit of getting used to, but now my hand is all stretched out, I’m finding buttons I didn’t even know existed. The left and right buttons for example have the regular click at the far end, but also a very discreet click at the part closest to the palm – plus two additional buttons that operate, currently, as left and right click. I’m not a fan of the vertical layout of the forward/back buttons, every other mouse I’ve used, those have been horizontally laid out. I’ve also found I have clicked the “show desktop” button by mistake a few times. The middle button/roller is also nice and smooth, with again a discreet ‘click’, but rolls unimpeded if you give it a good quick scroll. However, all of this great stuff has been overshadowed by the fact I simply cannot the software that’s supposed to exist that allows me to configure the buttons on this mouse. And for that reason I have knocked a star off

My Logitech performance MX died. Logitech is horrible about getting out new software for older tech supplies when you move on to a different operating system. I couldn’t find anything. Also, recently I bought a new computer with Windows 11. My Logitech camera same thing. It didn’t die but it would not operate with Windows 11 and there was nothing available as far as programs to work. Never again for Logitec this Acer mouse is great. Nothing to download. It works right off the top. The side display is great. I would highly recommend it

I almost gave this mouse a poor rating because there was too much friction when trying to move it. However, I checked again and noticed that there is a protective film over the 3 bottom feet of the mouse. Once I removed those, it moved fine. The included instructions are bare-bones and my eyes aren’t so great to it wasn’t obvious that there was a film there.Anyway, now that the film is gone, I’m liking this mouse. First, I like the little screen on the side. It tells you the battery level, the current DPI, and how it’s connected. It’s also how you re-program the buttons (more on that later). To change the mouse DPI, simply click the middle button to cycle between 1200, 1600, 2400, 3200, and 4000 DPI.To program the 5 custom buttons, you hold down the DPI button for 3 seconds and you’ll see instructions on the little screen. Simply click the button you want to program, then scroll through the list of options using the mouse wheel. Once you find the shortcut you want, click the same button again to assign it, then hold the DPI button again for 3 seconds to exit.TBH, you are a bit limited in what you can assign to the 5 programmable buttons. I like the Show Desktop option, but the “Explorer” option opens up a new browser tab for me instead of Windows Explorer. The Lock Desktop shortcut works well, but keep in mind that most of these options are only available for Windows (sorry Mac users). The mouse can be connected 4 different ways to your PC: Bluetooth, Wireless via USB-C dongle, Wireless via USB-A dongle, and wired using the removable USB-A to USB-C cable (the USB-C end plugs into the mouse, so you’d need an available USB-A port on your PC). The USB cable is unlike any other I’ve seen, as it has a nice cloth-like braided cover over it (not your typical rubber cable). Each of the wireless dongles are stored inside the mouse behind a small plastic cover (I initially thought it was a battery cover). The only thing I don’t like so far is the left mouse button. The product description says it’s “silent”, and it’s very quiet with almost no travel. The issue is that you don’t always realize that you’ve clicked something. I’m not sure if I got a defect or if that’s by design, but I do prefer a little more tactile feel like my Logitech MX Master 3s mouse.Overall though, this is a pretty nice mouse, with a good bit of features for the price.
