Poorly advertised
Redoing this review now that I’ve used the product to it’s fullest.The focus is awful. It can’t be changed and the auto focus is mediocre. The exposure can be changed in the settings in increments of 1 (to a max of 3 both +/-) and it hardly changes. White balance is poor and is a glorified blue or orange filter.The 4K and touchscreen it claims to have is just a blatant lie. The 4K can’t be seen on the display (fair) but the quality remains to same on a 4K capable screen. The “touchscreen display” is also a lie. There is no touchscreen at all.The “18x zoom” is poor. A friend of mine has a camera with a 10x zoom that goes further than this cams 18. The photo mode also has its quality butchered in lower light levels.For £170 this product is honestly a glorified DS camera. Not even close to being worth it.

HelloI have used the new digital camcorder once for an aviation event and so far the camcorder has preformed well.One thing I had to get used to was to open the compartment in order to get to the USB/HDMI connections etc to connect the camcorder to the pc.The reason is because the camcorder is water proof down to a depth of 16 feet.For me anyway It took a few goes to open the compartment.This is not a gripe of the design of the camcorder itself and I understand the logic why the door of the compartment was designed that way.Essentially to keep water away from the USB/ HDMI connections.The digital camcorder preforms well in both the video and still recording modes.Switching between video and photo modes is really easy using the mode button.I have no problem in terms of the digital camcorder talking to my Windows 11 PC and then uploading the videos/still pictures to social media such as Facebook.I hope the review has been useful for other potential purchasers of this particular digital camcorder.Regards.Cameron.
