Does the job
Not a lot to say really, it’s a stand for a Hive thermostat. It feels robust and the thermostat fits nicely and securely on the stand. Easy to clip on – there are two prongs that fit into the top corners of the thermostat, just like the original wall-mounted plate. There’s a release lever under the thermostat, just like the wall-mounted plate, so the thermostat is easily removed when you need to change the batteries. A neat and tidy look. I’d recommend it.

Good product but arrived with no instructions – took me a minute to work out you have to remove the back of the thermostat to attach the stand. Senior moment! Arrived next day, perfect fit, happy bunny.

Please see my photosWe had placed our thermostat in the coldest room so that the frost setting for the boiler works correctly.Just standing it, without this type of stand, means the batteries sometimes pop out but also the sensor , can be seen at the bottom of the unit, is totally covered as it is no longer on the wall and raised for exposure to the air.This stand fits perfectly, has some non slip feet at its base. Nicely angled.The thermostat is easy to reach and use when fitted.I wish we had found this before our thermostat fell onto the floor and cracked the screen, still working though.Easy to fit and remove, to change batteries.Very much recommended and appreciated.I hope this has been helpful for you.

Very stable
I had my unit attached to the wall and when we had work done it unfortunately got removed and thrown away. This back/stand is perfect and I now have my unit freestanding on a shelf. It is very stable and I can easily adjust the thermostat as needed.
