Q: Why is the touch function on my monitor not working?
A: This situation can be caused by the following: 1. The monitor’s signal cable is not properly connected. After connecting to the monitor’s HDMI port, connect the supplied USB-C cable to the computer’s USB port so that the touch signal can be transmitted. (Connect the Type C side of the cable to the monitor’s Type C port and the USB side to the computer’s host USB port.) 2. third-party converter is not connected properly or is malfunctioning. Some devices that do not have a USB port may need to be paired with a third-party converter to connect to this monitor. Make sure the converter is properly connected and functioning correctly.
Q: What is the correct way to connect the monitor?
A: Connect the USB-TypeC cable directly to the computer host (USB end to the host, Type-C end to the monitor), the computer host powers the monitor, and the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the computer host.
Q: Can I connect to a cell phone?
A: No. Cell phones cannot be connected directly to the monitor. If you need to connect to a cell phone, please use a converter.

Perfect Auxiliary Screen for Daily Use!
I recently bought the Akntzcs 7-inch Monitor, and itâs been a fantastic addition to my setup! The 1024x600P resolution is great for what I need. I use it every day as an auxiliary screen below my main monitor, and itâs perfect for keeping extra windows open while I work. The HDMI connection makes it easy to set up with my PC, and its portability means I can move it around my desk without hassle. Overall, Iâm very satisfied and highly recommend this monitor!

Great small monitor
Needed a small monitor for connecting to equipment (eg CCTV NVRs) to enable access to the GUI interface. Picture quality excellent and an excellent additional piece of kit I can keep in my laptop bag with my laptop. Have not used the touch screen feature as not had device to try that feature, but I have no reason to doubt that this feature will work. Superb value for money and as always super quick delivery from Amazon (Prime).

Stay away, not worth the cost for how long it lasted
I recommend to stay well away. Looks and feels cheap. Picture viewing angle is awful. I used it for a CCTV monitor at my desk for the front door, but it failed just outside of the year warranty, so didn’t achieve doing that for long. Size is okay, considering it does need electronics in it, the bezels are big for such a small screen, but you can see that from the listing so it was expected. Setup was easy except it didn’t appear to allow settings use whilst it didn’t have/detect a signal input. It stopped detecting signal input, even when trying multiple devices.

NOT an IPS panel – deceptive title
When I bought this item (and at the time of this review) the item’s title on Amazon described it as “IPS”.It is in fact NOT an IPS monitor, it is a TN panel.Now reading the description more carefully I can see that it states TN, but when you’re browsing through pages of very similar products you are only seeing the item titles, and the manufacturer has obviously put the word “IPS” in the title in a deceptive way to attract buyers and influence search results.I was searching for “mini IPS monitor” so I am very disappointed to have unwittingly purchased a TN one.As for the TN panel itself the picture quality is OK but the viewing angle is terrible which is exactly why I wanted an IPS!Really annoyed and disappointed.

Does not power by USB-C
So the monitor fires up only when using the DC adapter.I’ve used multiple USB-C power adapters and it does not power on at all (No LED)Shame as I really wanted to power this by USB-CEDIT: It does work if you use the USB-A to USB-C included cable. Using a laptop charger for example is a no go, and neither from a USB-C power bank.

Not a bad Mini monitor for the price, especially a touch screen
This Akntzcs Mini Monitor was not a bad display for the price! It is smaller then you think though, but it works well. you can connect it to a laptop to use as a second monitor, and as its small/portable its easier to use! for example at home i have a dual monitor pc setup, but i cant exactly take a full monitor with my laptop when i go anywhere.now with this 7 inch mini monitor, i can! i can multitask like i can at home just on smaller screen(s) – however i should point out that the touch screen itself will not work unless you plug it into a plug socket. the USB lead does not give enough power to use the touch screen features.I do like you can actually stand the mini monitor up, i thought it wouldnt have a stand but the back has a “kick out stand” useful for things like gaming and having chat on the mini monitor or when multitasking work.It uses HDMI sockets for the display and a usb C lead to power the device (just plug into a plug and not your laptop/pc if you want to use the touchscreen) the touchscreen seems to work well enough but wasnt the most responsive, and doesnt work at all if using just the usb lead from my laptop.

Very versatile and lightweight.
This is a great little screen that is very well made and performs admirably.Firstly, it’s quite small and only 1024×600 resolution. It’s like an old Kindle Fire display or cheap tablet in that regard. Connected to my Nikon camera it looks pretty good though, and sharp enough to focus with.Connected to my laptop it’s a nice second screen for large print or simpler functions. I’m writing code for till touch screens which are low resolution anyhow, and I’ve been getting good results with this, especially as I can mimic the touch side of it. Android developers will love it.There’s adjustment of screen brightness and volume, and you can select the HDMI input you require. Using the USB-C port to either power or supply touch screen functions is nice, and there’s a separate power supply as well if it’s just running as a normal monitor.Has a flip out leg at the back to stand it up on, and two screw holes at the top, possibly for mounting to something else.Overall it’s really good for the price.

Nice image
This is a good quality screen. The resolution is decent and looks sharp on a screen this size. Colours aren’t bad either.Size wise it is small and neat. It is ideal for using with a media pc / Raspberry Pi where I wouldn’t want a large obtrusive screen. Text is clear and it is easy to select music using this. It isn’t cheap for a 7″ screen but I imagine this is because of the touch capacity and this is perfect for my music selection and means I don’t need to use a keyboard.This is a very nice item and no complaints from me.
