Cable is thin and has minimal shielding
On first inspection the cable appears very thin, despite this, it is the correct length however.When testing I found that the cable did suffer slightly from emf noise as I suspect that there is a low quality or inadequate shielding around the audio channels and this would explain why the cable is so thin.For the price point, I would expect a better quality shielding on this specifically as it is an Amazon branded own product and other Amazon owned branded products I have had in the past. I have not had any issues with and I’ve always found it to be good quality but unfortunately that is not the case this time.For my intended use, I will keep hold of the cable. However, if you are after something where the audio quality does matter, then I would suggest looking for different cable

Seems okay.
Have purchased in case I have to temporarily put back my old monitor. New one has hardly any sound, old one blasts it out of existence despite a couple of dead pixels.

Feels well built and sturdy. Used for connecting a laptop audio output to a soundbar via an Analog to Digital converter. No issues with sound quality.

It does the job
Build quality looks about the same as the numerous non-brand cheapies – not awful but not great. About 2mm step on the connectors – fine for my phone in its case, YVMMV. Headphone cables always end up breaking near a connector and I expect the same to happen with this after a few years of use.Audio sounds fine, no noticeable difference compared to other cables I have, but I’m not using expensive audiophile gear, just good budget gear: Philips SHP9500 phones & Fosi Q4. I don’t know if those fifty quid audiophile cables are much better, if at all.Almost 8 quid. I know prices of most things have increased but it probably costs less than a quid to make this cable.
