Perfect kit for electronics repairs
Thought I’d add a review as there are dozens of micro tool kits on sale and its hard to sort the good from the bad. I bought this for repairing a laptop and any other electronic items that need dis assembly. It has a good range of Torx heads plus other special fixings as well as the expected phillips and flats. I used several today and found the fit perfectly good. The contact area on the screws is so small, you have to be careful to make sure that they are properly engaged before applying and turning force. I had no slips and the heads are still good after several dozen screws released and refixed. The kit comes with a well designed tool holder as well as some prying tools. The box is unusually well made. All told, very good value, but bear in mind these are for amateur repairs not everyday use.

Very hand
This tool kit is very hand to have, a quality item in a quality see through box at an extremely good price, Iâve currently already used it on a pair of glasses, they must have the worlds smallest screws and this had a bit that fit it perfectly, also good for xbox controllers, phones etc.

Pleased with set, but one mild annoyance
I’ve used the kit a few times, mostly the small bits and driver handle, which all seem fine. And the case seems good enough, fairly nice storage.My only niggle is with the bits holders that fold up so you can remove them. This itself is fine, but due to the implementation I can’t read the label for each bit that states which bit it is. Either in the fold down position or the fold up position, the bits cover up the next rows labels. I have to move them around / take some out to see which is which.

Almost everything you’d need for DIY electronics repair
Have used this for fixing console controllers, home appliances and even spectacles, however for one pair of glasses didn’t have small enough driver. But definitely an essential piece of kit for DIY repairs.Good value for money and decent grip. Parts fit well together.

Great Little Screwdriver Set
After my old Draper Precision Screwdriver set finally deteriorated, from nearly 20 years of use, I needed a replacement to fix electronics around the home.Having looked at a number of options on Amazon, most half the price of this set, I decided on this product due to its good reviews (and the poor ones for the cheaper options).I am happy to say that I am not disappointed with my purchase at all! It arrived in great time & the screwdrivers, heads & other tools are contained in a compact & sturdy looking case.Upon opening, the screwdriver shaft & heads look well made & well finished. The attachment mechanism is simple, yet effective, allowing easy changing or removal of heads. In addition, the needle nosed pliers are very useful for the fiddly tasks & the plastic leverage tools make it easy to pry of screens & other nested/fitted parts. I haven’t used the suction cup yet, but should hopefully make phones screens etc easier to remove.All in all, I’m very glad I opted to pay twice as much for this set, as it’s so much better than others I have seen & used! For an Amazon Basics product, I think it’s very impressive!

It’s a nice screwdriver set for IT
A fair amount of screws, necessary for anyone who deals with physical IT in anyway. Hasn’t broken on me yet so it’s good quality. The driver itself is nice and sturdy, comes with a loose part on the back to allow clean screwing with reduces excessive hand movements, good for tighter spots like brackets and such.

If this set is magnetic then i’m a monkey’s uncle. Just been putting a new arm on some sunglasses, the screws are tiny and it was very fiddly as the bit had no magnetic ability whatsoever!

I love AmazonBasics – excellent quality product at great price. Other brands are too, but they’re purely functional.. I love that the one by AmazonBasics has a lot of thought put in even for aesthetics, excellent finishing and an overall WOW experience which is a step above all other brands!About the product– The selection of bits is quite varied.. many other brands have 8-10 different bit sizes of same type (phillips or flat or T etc) and most of them will lie idle, and when you need a different type, you may later feel the need to buy another set..Not with this – this set has 4-5 diff sizes (most used) of each type and several different styles/types.. so you are well equipped for all electronics tool requirements.- the additional tools – plastic flat tips for popping open stuck lids in electronics etc, tweezers, suction and mobile sim tray opening pin etc.. are excellent add-ons and you’ll be good for all laptops, mobiles and other tiny and delicate electronics- the aesthetics are fabulous.. the red plastic design on outer boxing looks great and is raised to keep transparent acrylic sheet from getting scratched. The red edging on lid is rubberized and feels great. Also, the inclined holding for bits actually pops up in a cool way for accessing them!The price may feel higher when you first see online, but when you receive it you will feel its totally worth it for the functionality, aesthetics, finishing, quality and the overall joy of handling good tools in your hands!
