Bought as a replacement for my first and only Kindle Paperwhite charger that finally stopped charging after a wire escaped its insulation. That one lasted years so I am hoping this one will too.Arrived quickly, in a plastic bag (not a box, which is what I was expecting) and the usual outer packaging.Have used it about four times and so far so good.It charges quickly (my old one took 4 to 4.5 hours in the end to fully charge my Kindle from 10%), in about three hours, just as my old one used to before it started giving up.A red light comes on when plugged in and switched on and doesn’t go off until unplugged again.So far so good. Will update again if I have any problems.

Worked for month well , then sometimes did not charge unless you “wiggled” the connection . Now 2 months later does not work at all …. did not expect to have to find another so soon , therefore not exactly value for money
