Works great for sketching and gouache painting from online classes as i can prop my ipad up on the top shelf while i follow along 🙂

Easy to build, very sturdy. Easy to adjust, with plenty of angle options.Itâs really good that you can put your phone/tablet on the stand as it allows you to either follow along with tutorials or draw from a photo etc.Overall really good quality

not really very good for what I wanted it for as the top bit doesnt stay where you put it. Build quality seems ok. On the small size, assembly was easy and its easy to move around

Works very well, was easy to set up. Once you have tightened the hinges donât try to adjust the position of the upper easel without loosening them first with the slot screw driver.

I have neck issues and this easel allows me to paint with less neck strain. I needed a Little elevation that I use to prop my work up with books. I currently am using the easel without the extra iPad board. I will use it for travel in the future. This easel is made well. The biggest take away is it provides true elevation even with the lowest angle. That is because it is made well with two bars to adjust each side. All other easels had one continuous bar that caused the heavy board to collapse at its lowest angle. This one is made perfect to support the lower angle.

This was surprisingly heavy! I was surprised when I first picked up the box. It comes in a nicely labeled box and is quite sturdy. I am adjusting to using it versus my old countertop system but I think I like it a lot. It’s useful being able to prop my reference up in front of me rather than setting it on the counter on my side.

I have really mixed feelings over this desktop easel.I’ll begin with the good points. Overall the construction seems really solid, with the bamboo pieces feeling sturdy and well made. In some ways the design works really well, with the convenient ability to adjust the angle of the bottom slab very easily. Having the ability to prop up whatever reference you are using on the top piece is great and it securely holds books, tablets, phones, etc. But this is where it starts to get a bit dicey.If you plan on having a static setup where you’ll never need to change the angle of the top slab, or need to fold the whole thing away for storage, you’ll probably be quite happy with it.But I was quite unhappy to discover that you cannot change the angle of the top slab without using the included screwdriver (which is also needed to attach the hinges in the first place). This does not make it very convenient, especially having to find something else to use if you lose it.Also, it does not fold down nicely to be stored AT ALL. The top slab can not be made to fold down flush against the bottom, leaving a big space between them. This would be aggravating enough, but the wood and metal pieces for tilting the bottom slab just hang loose if not in use. There is nothing to hold them flush, either, and they fall open when you try to move it.So it is really not friendly to anyone with limited space who might want to store it away between uses. I ended up fully disassembling the hinges so that it could be packed back in the box, as this was the only way to keep the bottom pieces from flopping around or having the whole thing take up a lot of space and be awkward to store due to the slabs not laying flush against each other.It really is a shame, the easel really does look and function very well when it is all set up. But I definitely question the execution of how some of it was put together, and I wish more thought had been put into making it more storage friendly for those of us who don’t have a permanent workspace to set it up in.

This easel is a pleasant surprise! Itâs bigger than I expected, which is great for larger projects, and it feels really solid when set up. The adjustable angles make it super versatile for different tasks, from sketching to holding a tablet. A great addition to any creative space.
